We recently returned from vacation and had a great experience at this resort. We did reserve from a private owner,but also looked at other units run by the hotel. these units have been updated and are very nice. You could not get a better deal there than at this location. The staff at the hotel was excellent. We could not have been more relieved after reading the reviews about this hotel.Forget all the negative reviews and go enjoy yourself. Excellent location, great beach, great staff.

I went there and wanted to have a nice trip for a nice price on the water. The rooms were gross and there were bugs in the beds. I had to switch rooms about 3-4 times untill we could find a clean one. They were very unorganized, I asked for a general manager and a 20 year old kid comes out in jeans and a t-shirt hat on sideways and wanted to know what he could help with. Then I had to argue with him and he was no help. I moved next door to the Radison and it was a lot better. Do not waste your time or money there it is not worth it. go next door to the Radison. Ocean Manor is a joke and was not the right place for a vacation.

Hotel Hell it should be renamed. My mother and I were looking for some sun and relaxation. We got the sun but the rooms here are hell. I booked through a travel web site. Guaranteed to have at least a refrigerator , microwave and two beds. We arrived late and the "night manager" was rude. He tried to stick us with a unequipped room and could have cared less if we were alive. He had more interest in his cell phone call. We picked this place for the above amentities. I spent most of the late night and next AM trying to get another hotel. With NO luck. The next day we had our room moved on the same floor with an ocean view. This room was bigger but AWFUL. The whole experience was Disgusting. 35 years ago this might have been nice. It is part Crummy rotten hotel. Part Nursing Home. Think South Beach before it was revived. The term resort should be used loosely as well as hotel as a descriptitve. Never again!

My mother, daughter and myself were looing or a nice warm getaway at a decent hotel! We got the warm weather but the hotel is another story.
We walked in to a beautiul clean lobby and could see the pool and beach which was great! We no sooner got up to our first room and asked to be changed because it was not very clean and because we paid extra for oceanfront. Our next room seemed a little better, with a small kitchenette and a balcony. I walked out onto the balcony supposedly ocean front only to see the hotel and their parking lot next door, if you looked to your right you could catch a glimpse of the ocean. The sliding bathroom door was off the hinges and moldy, it could not be closed! The Cabinets in the kitchenette were broke and just sitting there, no handle on the fridge. There was mold and dust in the AC vents. The sliding balcony door could not be locked, we were 3 floors up but still, the blinds were broken and the people across the way could see right in! We called about the room not being oceanfront and they told us we had the best room and oceanview and front were the same thing! No Way! We did look for another hotel but were unsuccessful. The only thing this hotel has to offer is location, beautifully located on the beach with a nice pool area. If you don't mind surrendering room cleanliness and appearence than this hotel is for you.
