I was with a group of 8 & I couldn't have asked for a better trip. The room accommodations were great and fit us all excellently, room was clean and decorated. Went to toyoko blue at least 3 times to eat and drink I would recommend the sushi it was amazing each and every time especially the Thomas roll! The tiki bar was a blast every night and the lunch food there was great as well. Everywhere we went I think someone asked how we were doing & if we needed anything. We even meet the owner. I actually read the reviews before hand and was about to rebook elsewhere but I couldn't have asked for a better resort. The new renovated rooms are even more inviting so ill def be back!

This was my first time ever coming to Fort Lauderdald and I had a great time at Ocean Manor... There was always something to do ( Tiki Bar rocked and Tokyo Blue was amazing!), staff was friendly and helpful, management was friendly and definitely took care of everything. I WILL be returning very soon!!!! Thanks Ocean Manor for awesome unforgettable experience in Fort Lauderdale

These bad reviews was not my experience at all!!! My room was clean, no roaches like others are saying and location is excellent!! The tiki bar is convenient and bartenders are awesome!! The food is also great!!! The owner frank personally introduced himself to us and was extremely nice!! I would definitely return here for my stay!! The beds are so comfy, I'm not sure what all these other people are talking about but I loved it here and will be returning!! And no I do not work here or know anyone here, just stating my overall experience with my stay!! From Charlotte, nc!

We stopped in here with no reservation and checked out the lobby with it's great ocean view and impressive fish tank. Checked in and came up to our floor...hallways and doors look like they are from the 60's. Room was fairly nice and large. Much better than the hallways would indicate. Had dinner and drinks in the Tiki Bar on the beach. Excellent BBQ ribs and chicken and the service was good. When it was time for bed we discovered that both beds sank a LOT in the middle. The foot of the bed actually sat higher than the head did. So we slept with our heads at the foot. Beds have ZERO
support and after one sleepless night and two sore backs we will find a different hotel tonight and we will check the Tripadvisor Reviews before we pick our next hotel for tonight.

Let me just start by saying that I can usually make the best out of anything! Stay away! This resort is going through major renovations and might have 1 or 2 rooms that are done but Do Not believe the nice pictures! We got fooled by a cabana rental for the day deal...more like a filthy dirty storage closet! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! They advertise it with a picture of a little tiki hut on the beach! Ha! It's just a ploy to raise money for all the work that needs done! This place should be shut down until complete! Dirty, dirty, dirty...looks nice from the front and in the lobby but you can even smell the mustiness as you walk in! Beach is dirty, pool is dirty, cabanas are a joke, look at the pics on here...they are def real! Staff is more interested in their personal phones and texting than serving the poor saps that got sucked in to this place!

I come at this hotel on june30/2013 my reservation is for 5 days, when I arrived to front desk , my reservation are loss, the front desk employee bring me one room in 10 floor, 30 minutes after I received one call for chance the room at 7 floor because my reservation are in this area,
The room is bad , phone not working and wi fi Internet not working, I report for 3 different time in front desk and never have solution, the shower is bad, maintenance is to much bad , various cable outside the wall, all staff not use name tag for know your name , my experience is terrible, never more I take reservation for this hotel
The housekeeping person cleaner everyday my room and chance clearlline, this is only point where I have satisfaction

Room Tip: Not reservation this hotel , I think this hotel need new direction staff fast

This is by far the worst hotel I've experience in my whole life. The hotel is old, the rooms are dated and not well maintained. We had a problem with the door locks three days in a row. We had a 5 day booking prepaid through Bookit.com, and when we checked in, our room was not available for two days, so they upgraded us to a suite room which was the worst hotel room ever. On the third day, they advised us that we had to move to another room because the room we were staying at was a privately owned and the owned wanted the
the room for the next day. The staff are not pleasant at all. I wish I could claim my money back.
