Our stay at Ocean Manor Resort was fantastic. The four of us stayed in a nice room with an ocean view overlooking a spacious pool. Didn't stay in the room much though. I guess because the Tiki bar was the place to be. We loved the food and the atmosphere was great day and night. The live music was also entertaining.The staff were friendly and polite. We hope to spend a second, longer stay soon.

We have stayed twice, and had a wonderful time. It's all about the beach and the tiki bar. AWESOME!!!

In January of 2008 my cruise group of 33 people all stayed at the ocean manor for two nights before we left on the cruise. I must tell you we where treated excellent by all the staff and the owner Frank . Frank even helped me put together a party for all 33 people the night before we cruised. Food was supplied by the on site restaurant and it was great. He arranged us away from everyone so we could discuss some things before we cruised. After the party we all hung out at the Tiki bar which had great entertainment. The hotel Concierge arranged discounted transportation to the port for us. None of us had any complaints about the place and everyone was satisfied with their rooms. The beach is great and the pool was nice and warm. If you need a great place to stay on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale this is it. One thing I forget to mention was the great location of the Ocean Manor. Some of us went downtown which was a bus ride away, so there was no need to rent a car. My suggestion is if you want a great time in Florida Ocean Manor is the place to stay.

This was by far the worst experience I have had in a hotel or on a vacation ever! As the other reviews have stated, this is an overpriced, dirty, half remodeled, disgrace of a hotel that has a staff that could care less about the customer. We traveled all the way from Seattle to stay here and were disappointed when we walked into our room to find a large puddle of water leaking out of the overhead AC unit. The room looked like it had been remodeled by a child and there was mystery "goo" on the mirrors and windows. We complained, they did nothing. We tried to get another room and every place was booked. 3 days later after the manager, Michael, fails to call back I bring up the situation with the front desk. They take on an attitude and look at me like they can't do anything. Then they insist that we move 1 hour before the wedding that we are in. They say they'll help and not a soul does. I leave the front desk in tears to go move all my husband and my stuff plus the 6 groomsmens stuff that just changed into their tuxes in our room. They move us to another sketchy room with two double beds. The night before we check out I bring up the situation with George and he gets cranky with me. I have never been so frustrated in my life! Please don't stay here. This situation will happen to you and the sad thing is OCEAN MANOR DOES NOT CARE!!! They will take your money and you get to stay in the squawler they claim to be a "nice resort." Oh did I mention that the housekeeping staff only visited our room once our entire stay? Typical of Ocean Manor!!!
