So local knowledge from a friend is that this property is being torn down eventually for a new runway at the airport so they are not putting any money into the property. It shows. I had an old box TV in the room, the doors were scuffed, paint was chipped, brass rubbed off in elevators and railings. It is just a very tired property. For business travelers I am a Gold traveler with Hilton.
The problem though is more than that, the service was not good. The cordless phone in my room did not work so you have to use the speaker phone. I did not have a room service menu so I called to have them deliver one. Two more phone calls and an hour later, I gave up on eating dinner at the property. There is not concierge lounge, which is something I look for in the full service properties.
When I went to take a shower, the drain backed up and I stood in two inches of water. I went to use my coupon for a free breakfast. You can pay more to get the full buffet. At other Hilton properties you can also use the coupon to get a discount on a menu item at breakfast like Eggs Benedict. Not so here. Service in the restaurant was slow, but my waitress was friendly.
The bed was not horrible. You definitely hear everything going on in the halls as there is a half inch completely exposed under the door.
I understand not putting money into a property if you are going to lose it; I wish I would have looked at trip advisor first as I would have looked for a different property.
