The reason I'm giving a two rather than a one is that it was close to the airport, the hot tub was nice, and the rates were reasonable compared to the other airport locations. However, the old adage rang true, 'you get what you pay for.'
We were placed in the "Lanai" building, which is the two story structure connected to the parking ramp. So we were very close to our vehicle and the pool/hot tub, but that's where the compliments end. The hallway was littered with trash that blew in from the parking ramp and the stairs leading to the pool area were covered in chunks of broken glass. While the carpet and furniture did not look to be that old, the carpet was dirty and stained and the furniture was scratched and missing hardware. There were dirt marks and scuffs on the walls, in addition to some used chewing gum that had been stuck on the wall next to the bed. We had ants crawling on the nightstand. The trim-work/baseboard was falling off the wall in some places.
All in all, it looked like our room had been used by a group of frat-boys on spring break for the week prior to our arrival. However, I get the feeling that it always looks that way.
