“Authentic Indian Cuisine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Good, authentic Indian cuisine. Prices are reasonable. Wide selection of appetizers, main courses and side dishes. Service is sometimes prompt--other times it is leisurely.

“Good Indian choices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

Enjoyed dinner last evening with some friends. Lots of choices, especially vegetarian.
Chicken Tikka was good, as was potato and cauliflower dish.
Check out the buffet evenings (Wed and Sundays)

“Hot and Spicy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

I am English, and as a conswuence almost brought up on Indian food, I don't pretend to be an expert though, I know what I like, and know when its good.
This place is just great, a fantastic full menu that covers all heat levels, and as is normal with Indian restaurants excellent value for money. It has that "authentic" feel to the ambience and the staff are warm and welcoming too.
If you like Indian food this is a must, if you are looking for something new, try it, the staff will help you select something that doesn't blow your head off :)

“We were very dissapointed at the service and food quality.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

The food was very bad and the waiters were mean and rude.Tthe owner and chef knew that there food wasnt good and even admitted it to us. He didnt even try to fix the problem. The dishes were not even close to what they were supposed to be. This is why i would never eat here again. This is not a good indian restaurant.

“Lousy service, average korma, won't be going back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

We called them at 7.40 to order a take out, just one dish, chicken korma, and a nan. We were told 15 - 20 minutes and got there at 8. My husband told them he was there to pick up his takeout order, and the waiter said OK and walked off. My husband expected him to come back with the takeout back, but no, nothing happened. My poor husband sat and waited for another 20 minutes, wondering what the heck was going on, no sign of anyone coming out of the kitchen with his order - and he asked someone else, and they said oh, your order's ready - it had been ready when he arrived, so if that first gormless waiter had taken 15 seconds to check on it, there would have been no delay. So strike one. Secondly, the korma was pretty spicy and a korma is supposed to be a nice, mild dish - definitely NOT spicy. Thirdly, GRISTLE IN THE CHICKEN??? UGH! DISGUSTING! It should be nice white meat chicken, or at the very least, nicely trimmed so you don't get gristle in there. Ugh ugh ugh. In my mind, nothing is more of a turnoff than biting into a lump of gristle. There is no excuse for that except for poor preparation. The nan was completely flat and well, devoid of any personality, having been sitting waiting there so long, wrapped in aluminium foil, collecting condensation. It was soggy and flat. This was a trial - we are eager to find a good Indian restaurant but this was definitely way below average, poor service (even on just a takeout! how can you mess up service on a takeout order????), well developed flavors but it was way too spicy to be called a korma, and ugh, trim your chicken. $20 for that????? NO THANKS BOMBAY CAFE. We'll not be back.
