Booked our trip at the hotel through Site59.com for a last minute trip over Easter/Passover long weekend. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly. The drinks at the poolside bar were great. The food served by the bar was better than expected. We were within steps of the Beach. The room had a fridge, which was great. Pool was nice and you could find shady areas. The beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast in the morning was loved by my niece.

All in all we had a great time during a short trip away.

My friends and I spent Spring Break at the hotel after reading reviews on tripadvisor.com. It turned out to be exactly what we needed. The hotel was in a safe area- away from the bars but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. Very close to the beach, although not right on it. Maybe a 2 minute walk. Close to a large park with trails. The breakfast in the morning was perfect. The hotel pool was clean and secluded. There was construction around the hotel but it didn't effect our stay any. For the price and the location, I would definitely stay again. One complaint is that the staff was rude and lacked proper customer service skills- it took a lot of patience at times!

great hotel. my room was very clean and cozy, the staff were nice, and even better, it is right next to fort lauderdale beach.

Me and two friends stayed at this hotel for one night. We were on our way to Key West from Orlando and instead of driving straight through, we decided to stay in Fort Lauderdale one night (this was pre-booked on the Best Western website).

We are very glad we chose this hotel (the price and location was great). The hotel offers a FREE HOT breakfast buffet. I have never stayed in a hotel that offered that. The gentleman checking us in was knowledgeable, efficient, quick, and friendly. The room was a great size for three people (AC worked well, shower pressure and water temperature were great, bed and linens were very comfortable). It is located on A1A (the road the runs parallel to the beach and is just a short drive to Las Olas, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, BeachPlace, Convention Center, etc.). Parking was $5.00 per night and was located in a convenient garage connected to the hotel.

At first you might feel unsafe with the signs in the elevators (the ones at like 7-Elevens that say cops can ask you to leave the premises) and the video cameras in the hallways. We thought both were odd, but never felt unsafe. Additionally, the elevator broke while we were there...inconvenient, yes, but not a big deal....you just walk up the stairs and get exercise.

I recommend this hotel to anyone, even if it is for multiple nights. In my opinion, it was a great value.
