This Hotel is first class. Great people, great rooms and a great location. If your looking for quality this is the Hotel to use. Directly across the street from the sands of Fort Lauderdale. Balcony with a view of the ocean.

In December 2012, My husband and I enjoyed a terrific weekned at the W hotel. After an unsatisfactory experience at another hotel in Fort launderdale, we decided to check out the W hotel. Dimy, the front desk customer service associate was extremely helpful in telling us all about the hotel upon our arrival. Dimy even took the time to show us a room on a quick tour of the The W Hotel. My husband and I were impressed.

Within an hour, with the help of Matt the front desk manager and Dimy, we had switched hotels and were settled into our beautiful, Ocean front room at The W.

Everything was taken care of by your excellent staff. The statement "whatever, whenever" was truly experienced by my husband and I. The hotel had two beautiful pools, both with amazing views. Each pool was located on upper decks of the W hotel which created the amazing view. We loved the option of being able to relax at the quiet family themed pool area, equiped with lovely cabana's. The 2nd pool was a bit larger offering a social atomphere. Both pool areas had large sun loungers with thick cushions and lots of umberallas.

Our room was awesome, with a beautiful view of the ocean and the great sunset. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Hoping to return for March Break.

Love this new property. You truly feel like royalty when you choose this W. Spotless facilities and a staff that go above and beyond make you feel totally welcome. I love the card they made us fill out so that when it was time to check out our boarding passes were waiting for us. Well done!

This is an exceptional hotel. Overall it is really upper class.
Here's the good:
Excellent location. Nicely appointed rooms, nice workout area and pool. Average ironing board and iron, the hotel is in fine condition and they have very good coffee for free in the lobby in the morning. Good view from most rooms on the balcony.
The Bad:
The lobby is on the fourth floor, the TV is small, the elevators are slow, the curtains don't shut out much light at the top or in the middle in the morning (they need a drop down at the top), the bathroom has poor lighting (that's bad for us older folks). Although the rooms were very quiet overall the balcony provided a route for the baby crying sound next door so I had to close it. Oh yeah they hide the extra roll of toilet paper in the closet, not a good thing when you need it.Don't know about the parking, some nice cars in the lot.

Overall I would recommend this place if you have the money and like expensive but well located hotels.
