We stayed at the Cocobelle for 15 days. The place was perfect!!!!! It was clean and beautifully decorated you can see that the owners put all their effort in maintaining the place. Our room had a large bedroom with plenty of closet space the kitchen was a perfect size which included all appliances for cooking. The living room area was large and comfortable. The outside area was amazingly beautiful as well. The owners were very friendly and helpful on our stay. They supplied us with beach towels and they also have a washer and dryer which were practical since we stayed for two weeks.

My husband and I took our first long vacation together to South Florida and we stayed at Cocobelle for 4 nights and then drove to the keys for 2 nights. Looking back we wish we'd just stayed the whole time at Cocobelle. The room was very comfortable (not posh, comfy) and the location quiet and friendly. A short way to a quiet section of the beach and close to several restaurants.
The owner was flexible with our late arrival (nearly midnight) and had wonderful recommendations for what to do and see. The other guests are mainly Canadians and Europeans families on their holiday. giving the place a cosmopolitian family feel.

In Summary, we are planning to head back for our next vacation.

My husband and 14 year old son and I stayed here the night before our cruise and 2 nights after our cruise. This little hotel was just wonderful. It was charming, spotless and offered all the amenities you could ever want. The owners were friendly and helpful. The pool area is like a relaxing oasis. The hotel is only a couple of blocks from the beach and lots of restaurants that are quaint and quite good. Try the Primanti Bros or The Deck. We felt like we had been on two vacations by extending our stay at the Cocobelle after our cruise!

It's for hotels like this that Trip Advisor is so useful, if it hadn't come so highly rated I probably wouldn't have thought to choose it and would have gone to one of the larger hotels along the beach and then I would have missed a real little gem.
Cocobelle Resort is a small "motel-like" establishment, but the owners have done so much to make it a great place to stay. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and furnished, and although not big, they have everything that's needed. We brought food for breakfast and lunch and ate at one of the many tables set out around the pool.
We had a car so we drove into Fort Lauderdale in the evening. If you didn't have a car there was the delightful water-taxi, or the bus.
The owners try really hard to make everyone welcome, and they were very helpful with directions, providing maps, and instructions.
The beach is about 5 minutes walk, and the hotel have a store with all sorts of beach equipment that you can use.
At night the pool area is floodlit and looks really pretty. We sat out several evenings with a bottle of wine.
The Cocobelle is great value, and a real "find."
