The hotel owner was fantastically helpful and friendly. We arrived quite late after a long flight and she told us about a great place to eat within walking distance, which was just what the doctor ordered. The room was very clean, really comfortable beds and every facility you might need. Good swimming pool too. Close to the beach. Not a noisy area. Big beach towels provided. Huge fridge. Great place. Would DEFINITELY stay there again.

  • Liked — Clean and comfortable beds with great facilities.
  • Disliked — Carrying the heavy suitcase up one flight of stairs (but the owner helped!).

What a wonderful vacation my family and I had for 10 days here in Sunny Florida at the Cocobelle Resort. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our daughter who is 5yrs old, loved coming back to go to sleep in her twin bed , situated, conveniently in the living room of our 1 bedroom apartment, which was Unit 16. (2nd floor)..Our Kingsize bed was also very comfortable and spacious too..Our kitchen and dining area was very nice too as we ate some breakfast meals in the room. Our bathroom was a nice size. The unit has a bathtub as I requested. The only thing was it took awhile for the water to drain afterwards and the mirror in the bathroom was up to high for me to apply make-up and such...so there is a wall length mirror in the hallway but there isn't too much lighting...We even saw monkeys on the tree outside our apartment window, visiting from the Bonnet House, next door. The swimming pool was great. It was a 4 and 5ft pool. We usually had the pool to ourselves which was nice. The pool surroundings consisted of beautiful palm trees and other foliage. It was nice and private.
The complex also had a complimentary washer and dryer on the premises in which we used 2 times.

The owners were very friendly and were nice enough to lend us beach umbrellas, chairs, towels and sand toys. They offered suggestions of places to go to as well...

There were empty lots near the hotel that need to be built up to make the street look more attractive.

All in all, we would definitely recommend any family to stay and enjoy the quietness of the resort around you, enjoy the cleanliness of your room and friendliness of the owners, Dorothee, Ernest and Johanna.

We would love to come back again and stay at this lovely hotel!

  • Liked — We really enjoyed our 1 bedroom apartment because it was cozy and comfortable.
  • Disliked — that we had to leave after 10 days...

Its a kind of motel with 15 rooms , very good price and spacious rooms
the only dowside for us coakroches, when we arrived there were
a 1/2 coakroch dead at the bathtub
We cleanned and went to sleep when we wake up next morning another one was dead at bathtub
the owners are nice and friendly, they leave the hotel at night , and leave the key door with the guests
I f you dont have an issue with coakroches is not so bad you got what you pay

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Cocobelle for a week in mid-July. We had researched the hotel on Trip-Advisor and loved their virtual tour and pictures of the rooms on their website. Everything that people are saying about this place is true... it is truly beautiful! We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment (very reasonable) and the first thing we noticed about it was how clean and fresh it was. It had everything we needed...towels, shampoo, soap, cofee for the coffee maker, kitchen towels, dishwashing soap, etc.. We did not have to purchase much of the "extras" for the week, which was a big help to our wallets! We would walk to the beach each day (a short 5 minute walk) and then relax by the pool until dinner. The pool area is just stunning. There are palm trees surrounding for lots of privacy and a nice heated pool (90 degrees). You don't have to worry about loud noise levels from other guests; there are only 16 units. In fact, we had the pool to ourselves almost every day. They provide you with huge beach towels, beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, whatever you need for the beach. Since we flew, and could not obviously bring these items with us, it was so nice having them provided. Dorothee and Ernest, the owners, live on the property in one of the units, and are available at any hour. They provide maps of the area and can recommend restaurants and shops to visit. They are just wonderful people. They definitely made our stay comfortable! I would highly recommend the Cocobelle Resort - it is truly a gem!

  • Liked — It's small size and cleanliness.
  • Disliked — It would have been nice to have two televisions in the apartment.

We stayed at the Cocobelle Resort for one week before our cruise from Miami with my son and daughter-in-law. On arrival we were greeted and helped to our room with the cases. After we had settled in we went to reception and was given lots of information to help us enjoy the stay there. We had a hire car but the walk to the beach took only a matter of minutes. We were offered a larger room but declined the offer. We had room 15 which had ample space. We also had a fridge, coffee machine, toaster and microwave plus cutlery and crockery. This was very handy as we bought bread, cereals and jam and made out own breakfast every morning and ate it by the pool. We were also give the use of the laundry which was very helpful. It was always very quiet at night and this meant that we all got a good nights sleep. The pool area was small but just enough space to read a book on the sunbeds and a pool big enough for a swim. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Fort Lauderdale.
