I booked this hotel when it was the St. Regis and found out it had been bought by the Riz a month before. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted with friendly hellos from everyone. We were upgraded to a two room suite. It was gorgeous! We had a HUGE balcony that extended from the living room o the bedroom. The living room also had a dvd player which you could watch free movies from "the butlers closet". The phone was all digital and controlled the lighting, music, ect. The bathroom had Bulgari bath products....The restaurant in the hotel Cero had excellent food as well as service. We had asked the waiter how far Seminole Hard Rock was and he returned with directions!!!! I also had a massage and pedicure at the spa which was great....the pool area although plain was beautiful and it overlooked the ocean. It was very quiet and relaxing....again...the service wonderful. Upon leaving, everyone came to the front door to say goodbye.......I was sad to leave...I LOVED this place.....I have never been waited on hand and foot like this at a hotel before......it was great.......I can't say enough!!!

As we turned the corner of Las Olas Blvd, I informed my travel companion that the hotel was across the street from the beach like most hotels in Ft Lauderdale. She looked like she was going to cry.

When we arrived at driveway, the Front Desk Manager came out to receive us. I explained the issue and he took it from there. He took her on a personal tour of the property to show her all of the amenities. The pool and bar on the 7th floor with ocean view closed the deal.

The rooms were magnificent and spacious with an oceanfront terrace. We were allowed early check in and everything was heavenly from that point forward.

A taskforce from other Ritz Carlton Hotels properties visited the property since it's been transitioned from the St Regis. They were friendly as well.

Go to the pool and the staff immediately appears with beach towels to wrap your lounger and cover. The wait staff at Cero is fabulous. For a weekend getaway, it was an absolute piece of heaven on earth.

I hope you enjoy as much I did. My travel companion never mentioned the beach and I think she stayed poolside anyway.

We have been to MANY Ritz Hotels in Fl. and around the world.

This one is great and on the beach, with great service and rooms.

No Club level rooms yet there are too come.

  • Liked — our suite over looking the ocean and pool
  • Disliked — 30.00 $$ A day valet charge, when you are paying 500.00 a night and they have on site Ritz parkning.

Ft Lauderdale - St Regis Hotel and Spa

We stayed for 1 week in July at the St Regis, Ft Lauderdale before going on to Los Angeles. What a fabulous start to our holiday. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very high class. The staff are always polite and very willing to help in any way they can. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking to stay in a very up market, friendly hotel. The dining room is lovely, also the staff are very proffesional in every aspect of service. The pool is also fantastic with fabulous views out to the ocean, the poolside staff are very attentive and will provide towels, placing them on your sunbed, in the afternoon they offer free smoothies and ice lollies (a nice touch). Everything was faultless and we -a family of 6- enjoyed every second of our stay, Thanks to everyone at the St Regis we will certainly be back! Highly recommended!!

We were planning to stay at another hotel, also our favorite chain (3-4 star) hotel for another two days. However, after the first two days, we decided to stay at St. Regis for two more days, though it cost us $130 more each day. The room is spacious and the view is beautiful. The bedding is excellent! The bathroom is stylish and huge. we had a room above the patio and pool on the 7th floor. The pool and jacuzzi outside are open 24 hrs. You can acces the beach from the 7th floor. The catering for the meeting is OK. We only had one room service for dinner, which is good. The water taxi stop is 5 min walk from the hotel. The staff is just great. The concierge arrange a rental car for us. We picked up the car in the morning at hotel and dropped it off in the evening at hotel, which was just convinient. The service there is of first class. If youcould find a price you can tolorate, stay with them!
