After spending a week in Boca Raton with the grandkids, we were looking for a quiet location with a nice pool that was walking distance to the beach and restaurants. This was the place.

The owners actually own two separate places (Birch Patio and Napoli Belma Resort) that include 4 pools! Two pools were over 8 feet deep! They were very clean and toasty warm.

The room we rented had a refrigerator, microwave and anything necessary to prepare a meal or snacks. We were allowed to use anything on the properties. The owners were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

Nearby was a dive shop with day snorkling and scuba trips at very reasonable prices. We also enjoyed walking the boardwalk yet were far enough away to get a quiet night's sleep.

I would suggest this location to anyone with or without children. There are enough choices of rooms to please anyone!

This is the perfect place to stay if you are on a tight budget !!! The Birch is in the best location for not only the beach (very quick walk) but the water taxi as well! It's also located in a very gay-friendly neighborhood - which is always a plus. I will stay here again insted of an overpriced major hotel chain. Thanks staff for being so nice! Oh, and the Birch is only 2 or so miles from Publix ! Overall the Birch Patio is not perfect nor is it a fancy resort but it is as cute and charming as Simon Birch the movie!

Me and my young son spend Memorial day weekend at Birch Patio Motel and didn't want to leave. The place is very, very clean and has everything you need. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful.The sandy beach is just 2 blocks away and so is the bus and trolley stop. The waterbus stop is also very close and you can walk to Beach Place too. I would definitely go back.

Family-run hotel 2 blocks from beach. Excellent neighborhood, no noise, very quiet. Big and clean room on the second floor, as per my request, which included a full kitchen, two double beds, a table, tv, alarm clock, phone. Bathroom was 70's but ok. No closet but had drawers under the tv module and a clothes-hanging thing. Plenty of towels. No problem with parking, I guess there were only two other rooms occupied. Very easy to find, two blocks from beach. Virginia (on the phone) and Angela very nice, very accomodating to our requests on the phone.
Would definitely stay there again!!
