“Must try.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014 via mobile

Don't be fooled by the unassuming street presence. Chima is an absolute must if you are visiting Fort Lauderdale. The salad bar is vast with lots of the expected and unexpected... you'll be tempted, but try not to fill up on it... you'll need room for all the meat, cooked to perfection, that you can eat. Definitely try the Caipirinhas if cocktails are your thing, they are the best ever.

“Fantastic restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

Restaurants of this kind have kind of popped everywhere in this area, perhaps due to the increase in Brazilian population. However, a lot of these restaurants serve very low quality beef. Not Chima. You really can taste the quality of the meat and everything else in the salad bar and the other side dishes they bring to your table. No matter how busy they are, service has always been very good for us. We've brought our kids there since they were little and they've always been tremendously accomodating to them. The restaurant in itself is really beautiful as well, very romantic outside, perfect date restaurant.
Price is high, this is not an every day kind of place but it is worth the money.
For Rodizio style, I think Chima is the best in sFL followed maybe by Porcaos in Miami and a far third place Texas do Brazil also in Miami.

“Good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

Group of four were treated and entertained by Larry and Lucio recently. Found the food and drinks very good; however, very pricey. Atmosphere appeared a little noisy.

“Great meats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

If you really like Brazilian style steak houses you'll like this place. I've been to others with a bit more of a lively atmosphere but the meats are delicious and tender and juicy. I was worried for the first 15 min because no one came around with the meat but once we told our server it didn't stop. The salad bar is pretty good but the sides aren't that good, edible though. Probably won't need the sides, there's enough meat and salad, you will definitely leave stuffed.
