Very nice location, very nice property. Pool is a bit small for size of hotel. The Parking was a killer . $64 bucks to have car sit there for 40 hrs! Walk up the street to the other places to eat and drink..room smaller than expected but very nice and GREAT view...we just don't like $ surprises...oh,,,internet is $10 for min 20 mins then $.50/min after that..

I booked my stay at this Hilton because of its convenience to my work meetings, the room price was decent on the internet, and of course the chance to stay on the beach. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The view was awesome! But for me, as a regular road warrior, the customer service stood out as extraordinary, from the moment I checked in, all the way through my visit. The staff were consistently helpful and friendly; from the valet, the fitness attendent, the restaurant staff, and even the security guard. The fitness room is great, all Precor equipment, plus some benches and dumbbells. The pool was on the 6th floor with upscale lounge chairs and a nice breeze. I ate breakfast in the restaurant and found the continental buffet to be much nicer than a normal continental breakfast and very delicious. I definitely felt like I was on a vacation, even though I was there for business. i will definitely stay there again.

We would definitely stay there again! It was gorgeous and the staff was great with the exception of the waitress at the pool. Don't expect to have a waitress come around the pool asking what you'd like to drink. We even sat at a table and watched 2 waiters walk around us for about 1/2 hour. We finally had to go in for our drinks. Other than this, it was a perfect stay. Great, spacious and clean rooms. Excellent location, friendly and helpful concierge desk. We recommend Charlies Crab House via the Water Taxi. Book the reservation through the hotel and get a free app or dessert!

We traveled to Ft. Lauderdale for a 5 day 4 night getaway the 4th of July weekend. Checkin was quick and precise, although i assume that this was b/c we were probably the last people checking into the hotel that weekend (we arrived at 3pm on Saturday the 4th of July). Christian checked us into the hotel, and was very professional and outgoing and made the checkin process virtually pain free. I booked the room under the "whatever room is available" category, and as a result got the smallest room in the whole hotel. All things considered, it was still an adequate sized room for two adults. Unfortunately the room we were in shared a private hallway/foyer with one of the suites, and our neighbors who were in that suite happened to be 20 something year olds who were wanna be hip hop superstars from Orlando looking to party the night away. After checking in we headed to the pool and beach and enjoyed the afternoon and evening sun. We had dinner at the touristy center (Beach Place) which was about a 10 minute walk down the road. After watching the fireworks over the ocean (AMAZING SHOW!!) we headed back to the hotel to call it a night (around 10pm).

HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEMS BEGAN. The kids next door were smoking so much weed that it literally smelled up the private hallway/foyer that we shared with them. I got my wife and daughter inside our room ASAP and happened to run into one of the kids who was staying in the suite. I politely told him that i dont mind them partying and having a good time so long as they keep the music down and dont have people running in and out of the hotel room making alot of noise. For about 90 mins they actually obliged to my request. Then at 1130pm the music blarred and woke me and my wife up. I looked thru the peephole and saw at least 20 people entering the hotel suite next door. At this point I had no patience since I already had talked to the kids about being respectful of others if they were gonna be partying. I called security and about 30 mins later security came up and told them to keep the noise down. They turned down the music for about 15 mins then turned it back up again. My room number was 702A and the suite is numbered 702. Somehow one of these partygoers got the room number mixed up and actually was able to open my hotel door while my daugher was asleep and we were all laying down. I got livid and yelled at the kids to get the "[--]out of my room". I was pretty irrate and they quickly ran into the right hotel room. I called security again and told them of the scenario. Long story short, after another 90 mins of waiting for security to fix the situation it finatly got resolved. Ultimately the hotel and security kicked the kids out of the hotel somewhere around 2 in the am. I got a few knocks on my door from what i guess were disgruntled kids. Not my concern as having people over is one thing, but trying to throw a full on house party in a hotel suite when other people are trying to sleep is just ridiculous....even if it is a saturday night on the 4th of July.

The next morning I spoke to the property manager (Whitney) and he was very apologetic and understanding of my concerns and had us moved to a 1 bedroom suite on the 21st floor and comped our first nights stay. From that point forth, the Hotel and its staff handled every concern of ours at the moment we reported it. I'm positive that the first night experience was largely due to the inconsiderate kids next door, but I do admit that I was a bit concerned that someone walked into my room in the middle of the night. It definitely did not make me or my wife feel very safe. The rest of our stay we deadbolt the doors and did the safety latch as an additional measure just to be on the safe side.

Excluding the first night fiasco, our stay was AMAZING. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high end beach resort. The parking is expensive, but if you're counting nickles and dimes you probably shouldn't be looking at most of the beachfront properties in Ft Lauderdale as they all charge $$ for parking. I have no doubt that any of my future visits to the Ft. Lauderdale area will likely involve me staying that the HIlton Beach Front Resort in Ft Lauderdale as the amenities and the guest services were second to none.

We booked the Hilton along with our flight through Expedia. Really, we compared the hotels and our choices were the Pelican, Hilton, Atlantic and the Ritz Carleton. For the value and location, we picked the Hilton and it generally, we feel it is a nice hotel chain.

Here are some of our opinions of this beachfront property:

1 - The staff are very nice, and try their best to please.
2 - The bakery Le Marche - VERY expensive, but room service is outrageous. When we arrived, and wanted to unpack, we ordered chips with dip and 2 glasses of wine. $44! A bagel in the bakery is $4!
3 - We checked in and got an upgrade when we found out that being a Hilton Honours member did not get us free internet. $14 a day for this. Our room had a kitchen and room sevice was happy to bring us up some knives, pans etc.
4 - The rooms were clean, the hallways though could have done with more vacuuming
5 - The pool was nice, crowded even in low season. A lot of kids.
6 - The beach was not as busy at this end, we liked this. You can pay for cheap chairs with a pad, no umbrella included for $30. These can be charged to the room. In fact everything can be charged to the room.
7 - Fort Lauderdale compared to say, Tampa is VERY expensive. We seemed to always be spending money, tipping etc.
8 - The view from the balcony was not oceanic dead on but still very nice.
9 - The location on the "strip" was good but we had to cab it everywhere we needed to go IE Las Olas Blvd, Riverwalk. The water taxis are very good but the operators really push for a tip. A bit of a turn off.
10 - We did not rent a car due to the $30 charge a day for parking. We may stay elsewhere next time we are here and get a car.
11 - On my second last night, I got bit by bed bugs but the bed was checked and sheets changed right away. These can crop up anywhere but just be aware!
12 - The grocery store is very far - Publix is a 10 minute car ride but we recommend you stock up on breakfast and lunch food there even if you have to take a cab - it will save you money in the end.
13 - Galleria Mall, nice place to shop but many businesses are failing there as most of the stores are quite upscale.
14 - Our room safe acted up 3 times and we had to have security up to our room. We also had someone try for 10 minutes to get into our room at 0430 the first night, scared the heck out of us but security took care of that too.
Staff here ae very tight lipped about how they take care of their "issues".
15 - The walls of the hotel are thin - we found the people next to us very noisy but what can you do?
16 - Hard Rock Casino - a $30 cab ride but worth it if you can handle the cigarette smoke!

Overall, this hotel good value. 4 out of 5.
