We recently spent 4 nights in this hotel,it looked impressive on website and the reviews on tripadvisor were good,plus we got a good rate.all hotel staff were very friendly.The location is a bit away from the main shopping,city centre but if you have a car then its fine,we got taxis while we were there and the cost does mount up . The hotel is beside several other good hotels like the Ritz Carlton ,The Atlantic ,The Trump is opening soon,and another huge one called the W is being built at the moment,so it seems this is the best address for hotels in the area.We felt safe walking around. The rooms were immaculately clean as i would expect from any Hilton Hotel and the decor is modern.The bath was fab,huge and with jacuzzi.The concierge ladies,Cindy and Vicky were particularly helpful and friendly.We had breakfast there which was extra,25 dollars for buffet ,which was excelent,lots of variety of hot and cold foods and lovely fruit.the pool area is also fab,its on the 6th floor ,so you are looking right out over the ocean.the loungers are so comfortable,lots of iced water and the pool staff look after you so well.you can lie there all day and have drinks and food brought to you,all you have to do is turn everynow and then and have a swim! very relaxing ,which was just what we needed as we started our holiday in Florida.We moved on to Naples and the Keys after that and booked other Hilton Hotels from the business centre where it costs 10 dollars for a half hour on the internet.
There was a good gym but we were too lazy for that and chose to have long walks by the beach instead.We will go back there if we in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Smack on the beach in the upscale area of Fort Lauderdale. Rooms are big with ocean view. Looks like new hotel. Even being on business there, I could use a 30 min break to have a quick dip in the ocean - fantastic. Also many great restaurants and shopping in the area.

I truly regret staying at this hotel. It has spoiled me for every other Hilton and Hilton brand! I stay in hotels 3-4 nights a week, and in the past 2 years, no other Hilton or Doubletree has matched up with the luxury of this Hilton.

The staff was wonderful - from the bellman, front desk, maids and room service staff. Everyone was friendly and polite and very helpful.

The room was beautiful - I was upgraded to a King Suite, and the beach view was great. Everything was sparkling clean.

The pool area was crowded, but the waitresses were quick to ask for drink orders and return. The lounge chairs were great.

I was on a business account, so can't give true feedback on pricing of food, parking, internet, room etc, because I didn't pay much attention.

I was in Ft. Lauderdale for work, but staying at this hotel made it feel like vacation.

The Fort Lauderdale Hilton was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. We were there for a girls getaway weekend and the whole experience was great. The property is very clean and well maintained and the pool was very relaxing with good quality lounge chairs, but the part that makes the Fort Lauderdale Hilton stand out was the staff. We experienced excellent service at every level.
