The best part is the view of the ocean, the worst is the service. Have tried Trina twice now and its just not worth the price. Doors were banging, the kitchen is noisy, service is slow, it took 20 mins to get a drink. The place wasn't even crowded. The food ok. There are too many other good places to go.

April 2008: Had breakfast at Trina's. We sat inside instead of outside but still enjoyed the view. The stuffed french toast was very good. We went back in the evening. I had a great martini (around $13), while my sister had bottled water. It wasn't very crowded and our server was extremely friendly, but not overbearing. Live music was terrific. Would go back absolutely!
Lots of supporters. I am just not one of them. Ok I guess.

PROS:
1. Cafe-med style veranda a stone's throw from Ft. lauderale's beach on A1A.
2. Close to the beach ! The sun.. very nice.
3. Close to "Las Olas" entertainment strip
4. Dinner tends to be excellent.. known for its Sea bass
5. Boutiuqe hotel on the premises is elegant, valet your care here
CONS:
1. Lunch was really bad - a crab souffle with rationed amounts of frozen crab on top of a dry omlette.
2. Dessert was in small amounts and quite tasty - saved lunch, while I buried the crab omlette in the sand. .. its ok, its biodegradable
Recommend Trina's for dinner, but lunch menu is limited and nears improvement.
