This is a fantastic little place. Rooms are very nice and clean and the atmosphere is just great.
We were welcomed late evening by the most gentle and warm man -thank you Richie.
You have beach towels and chairs for free and the beach is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The pool however is also great - the kids loved it.
If you like a friendly warm good priced hotel do not go anywhere else. This is the best place to stay.
Hope we are able to come back some day.
Family Fogemann - Denmark

We reserved Angela's in Dec 2006, for two nights in Feb. Things were OK, but for the room we got , $149 plus tax was steep. Although I aked for a quiet room away from busy areas, we got the first floor room next to the front door and Office. Bad idea. Fellow guests would sit outside our room and chat loudly each night til 12 am, and I had to shoo them away . No help from the management. During the night we would get yelling and swearing, banging of doors, car doors slamming, etc. This was not good. We saw Angela only once .... then she seemed to vanish for three days. The room was clean, coffee maker was broken, dishes and glasses had food on them, utensils were missing. Reggie replaced all right away. Pool is nice, but Sun shines only for am portion of the day, then shade happens. Close to beach, far from restaurants. Quiet neighborhood, but rundown. The rooms are old 1950/ 60's motel, with new paint. I guess you have to pay more in Ft. L ( pricey) for anything nicer. I'd pay a bit more and go somewhere else. Reggie was on the ball. Free internet.

My husband and I and two daughters spent one night at Angela's before getting on a cruise. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The past several reviews are absolutely true and reflect our experience at Angela's, so I won't repeat what they said here, except to emphasize that we felt completely at home the minute we walked in the door and could not have been treated any nicer. If you like large, new chain hotel and impersonal staff, this is not the place for you. If you don't have a car and don't like to get out and walk, this is also not the place for you. Otherwise, pack your bags and head for Angela's for rest, relaxation, and warm hospitality.

Along with another couple, we shared the "penthouse" 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. It was spacious, full of light, had very comfortable furniture, a nicely equipped kitchen, and a wonderful large very private rooftop deck. Beach towels, chairs and umbrella were furnished (a block and a half from nice beach) and Angela and her staff did everything to make our stay most enjoyable.
