Our trip to the Aqua Hotel was a result of my daughter 's love of finding "just the right place" to vacation. I am a lover of the ocean but not of crowds- she researched the Ft. Lauderdale area and suggested Tom and I check it out. So glad we did. The Aqua is a rare gem- and an incredible value. Everything about out stay was welcoming, soothing and relaxing. The king suite included a kitchen, dining and living area,an EXTREMELY comfortable bed, quality workmanship as well as the furnishings, free parking, complimentary wi-fi, a backyard area with a grill between the two pool areas ( one salt water pool),beach chairs, bicycles, an outdoor bistro and breakfast place (DELICIOUS) a block over- AND Maggie the manager who I read so much about in the Trip Advisor reviews. Maggie and her side kick Andrew make you feel like family. Everything they rave about her is true : )
The Aqua is close enough to everything yet far enough away to enjoy a very serene atmosphere. Looking forward to returning next year for a longer stay.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor overlooking the pool on one side and the backyard and grilling area th...

I have just returned from a short stay at the Aqua Hotel and I cannot praise it, and the people, enough. I arrived in a very poorly condition, having been food poisoned 36 hours previously. When I checked in I responded to the very cheerful "how are you?" By telling them that I was far from well. I was dealt with in a most concerned way and within 30 minutes they brought medication and electrolyte drinks to my room and told me that a doctor was on stand by if I needed one. No charge for any of it!
It was only a short stay and, because of my condition, I did not get to enjoy the lovely facilities to the full but I will never forget Maggie and her team (particularly Shelley) for the caring and constant support I was given.

This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The "backyard" was a charming common area to use for hosting a barbecue or laying out a picnic; lots of chaise lounges on a green grassy with trees. Two swimming pools let you choose whether you want a peaceful soak or some splashing fun with kids. The service was extremely friendly and professional. We absolutely loved the decor. Besides being beautiful in the mostly white color scheme you knew it was well maintained and clean. The bed was so cool and comfortable we wanted to take it with us. We can't wait to return for a longer stay at this hip hotel.

We stayed here 11/06/2013. We were traveling with friends to the Bahamas and needed a place to stay before departing the next day. We saw the Aqua online and thought it looked nice. We decided to book it based on its high Tripadvisor rating. We were not disappointed! The rooms and grounds were extremely clean. The décor was soothing, and relaxing. The hotel had a posh South Beach meets Melrose Place kind of feel. It is sophisticated enough for a couple’s getaway but laid back enough to bring the kids. Maggie the manager is very energetic, outgoing, and immediately makes you feel as if you’re among family and friends. The experience was great and the value was incredible.

We landed at the hotel around 8AM exhausted from our red eye flight and our room wasn't ready as check in time is not until 3pm. Maggie the hotel manager was so very sweet and welcoming immediately upgrade us to a suite that was available so we can rest up. The property is spotless and tastefully decorated in all white with Aqua Blue accents. Will definitely be back for sure and stay longer next time. Thank You Maggie!!!! You are the best. Hope to see you soon.
Best Regards,
Melinda & Chris

We were looking for an alternative hotel in Fort Lauderdale because the one we were staying could not keep our luggage for a few days as we were planning a cruise. Then we came at Aqua and met ANDREW SCOTT. He was very good in enquiring about our preferences. He was very helpful in answering all of our questions and showing all hotel possibilities and rooms. He felt very responsible for our wishes. This despite he was very busy and advising colleagues who were new on the job.

At our first stay, before our cruise, we choose Tara because we very much liked the hotel and the view over the inland waterway. When returning from our cruise, we again choose Tara, but it was no longer available as it was being renovated. We were of course disappointed. However Andrew was again very helpful. He felt very much responsible for the situation, and was able to offer us an alternative room in Aqua
.
We felt very welcome in Aqua and with our host Andrew Scott. He is really an asset for the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly want to come back.

The Aqua hotel is an excellent hotel with very nice designer rooms. Service is excellent and rooms were kept very clean. Very special is the salt water swimming pool.
