This is a top knotch property, from top to bottom! My partner and I stayed in room 311, upstairs, at the back of the property. It was light and bright and very quiet. The room is spacious, with very elegant furniture including a beautiful mahogany rice bed. There is a very nice mix of guests, both young and slightly older. And the employees are extremely helpful! They serve a nice breakfast and a happy hour from 5:30 - 6:30 PM every day, which becomes quite the party. The grounds are spectacular! I promise you'll enjoy your stay at The Flamingo!

Having stayed at a number of Fort Lauderdale properties, I can only state The Flamingo is the best of the best.

Yes, it may be pricier than the other resorts in the area. If you are looking for the finest in gay resorts, then you have found it. The Flamingo excels at every aspect of service and accomodation.

I just returned from 2 weeks in paradise.
This resort is great.
Rooms are very nice. The courtyard with the pool and the wonderful plants and flowers are wonderful.
Every evening there is happy hour (with great drinks).
Most important: The whole crew (Chip and Ray, David + Tony, and all the other guys thank you) always has been so kind, friendly, and helpful; this service is outstanding!

Our first time at this property and really liked every aspect. We arrived before check in after a long red eye flight and Tony (AM manager) was more than helpful in offering us breakfast and our room. One of the owners is a gardener and it really shows. The property is lush with a huge variety of tropical trees and flowers. The room was clean and spacious (jr. suite) and the bath products (Aveda) were great. Breakfast buffet is good. The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our 4 night stay. Cocktails between 530 + 630PM was a great way to meet other guests. Location 3 blocks from the beach was a nice plus. Wilton Manors (gay area) is only 10 minutes away. There are other gay B and B's in this neighborhood. Local dining options are not that plentiful but a short car ride away. Overall, we'll be back.
