Stayed here one night in advance of a cruise. Can't beat the location in terms of proximity to the airport and cruise port.(about five minutes from each). Nicer, newer hotel than others I have stayed at in FLL. Nice large diing area for the continental breakfast, but there's a McDonald's across the road as well.
We had four people staying in a two-queen sized bed room. I'd call the room "medium-sized." It was a little tight, with all of our cruise luggage, but clean and quiet. Bathroom was nicely appointed (granite countertops, nice fixtures) and amenities were nice. There was a mini-fridge in the room.
Shuttle service was pretty good... had to wait a bit at the airport to be picked up, and waited quite a while when departing for the cruise port (and looped through the airport on the way there), but it wasn't too terrible. I'd recommend allowing some extra time if you are planning to use the shuttle.
If you aren't necessarily trying to experience Ft. Lauderdale, and are just interested in a practical, clean, good value place to stay near to the airport or the cruise port, I really can't think of how it could be better.
