We stayed at Kira Mar in July. We were extremely impressed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are kept very clean. Would definitely recommend!!!

Our stay from Sept 2, 2008 till Sept 6, 2008 prior to our cruise was nothing short of perfect. Even though they were undergoing renovations the place was ultra clean. We were made very comfortable and welcomed. Throughout our stay the owners wrestled with the construction crews, and their deadlines, they still took care of us.
We took a chance on staying there knowing, that they were under renovations, the place/unit might not be perfect; it worked out for us. We had a great time there. Reggie and Natalie are true inn keepers who make you feel welcomed and appreciated as guests. Next year when we return to South Florida, we will definately stay at the Kira-Mar. Now, if Reg and Natalie can do something about the hurricanes... Ike spoiled our cruise.

We stayed at Kira Mar at end of July based on reviews read on trip adviser. Everything was as expected, beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean and good value. We had booked 2 bed suite for ourselves and 3 children. Following our first night we felt that we could use some additional space and I asked Reggie if there happened to be a room free for any, or all, of our remaining nights. He said the room next door was free for the duration of our stay but he would have to confirm with Nathalie, who was out at that time, before he could commit but that he was sure they could 'sort something'. By next evening we had still heard nothing and I asked Reggie again (Nathalie still not have been seen). He muttered something about maid service being a problem (the room looked perfect to me) and said Nathalie would explain. For the remaining days of our stay neither of our hosts came back to us on the matter and the room in question remained unoccupied. Other than the time around breakfast, the office appeared to be closed much of the time, despite opening hours posted to the contrary. I see from this site that Reggie and Nathalie have a lot of very satisfied guests and I am puzzled and disappointed as to why they displayed such disinterest on our visit.

My husband and I spent a glorious time at Kira-Mar. Our villa was spotless with daily maid service. Each morning, I walked up Las Olas Blvd into town. What a great start to my day. The complimentary breakfast was great. Nathalie went one step futher. I asked for yogurt, and when we returned from the beach later that day, she had stocked the "fridge" with my favorites. We asked for beach chairs and an unbrella, no problem. What we loved most was how close we were to the beach and great resturants. My husband and I didn't have a bad meal the entire week.

Reggie & Nathalie are the best hosts we've ever met. We will return soon.
