We stayed at Kira Mar at end of July based on reviews read on trip adviser. Everything was as expected, beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean and good value. We had booked 2 bed suite for ourselves and 3 children. Following our first night we felt that we could use some additional space and I asked Reggie if there happened to be a room free for any, or all, of our remaining nights. He said the room next door was free for the duration of our stay but he would have to confirm with Nathalie, who was out at that time, before he could commit but that he was sure they could 'sort something'. By next evening we had still heard nothing and I asked Reggie again (Nathalie still not have been seen). He muttered something about maid service being a problem (the room looked perfect to me) and said Nathalie would explain. For the remaining days of our stay neither of our hosts came back to us on the matter and the room in question remained unoccupied. Other than the time around breakfast, the office appeared to be closed much of the time, despite opening hours posted to the contrary. I see from this site that Reggie and Nathalie have a lot of very satisfied guests and I am puzzled and disappointed as to why they displayed such disinterest on our visit.
