I was in town for business for a week. One of my favorite things to do when I am away from home is visit the popular restaurants in town. This is my first time visiting Fort Lauderdale. There are so many Italian restaurants these days so I wanted to go to a restaurant that came highly recommended. I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED at this restaurant considering it's "reputation". My first impression of the restaurant walking in was how "stuffy" it was. The host rushed us to our table and told us a table that we preferred was unavailable and reserved for someone when in fact it was available and offered to us after some persistence. The server tried to rush us to order and seemed very impatient which we did not appreciate. The food arrived in a timely manner and food proportion was decent. The food was good but not exceptional. The wine list was impressive and had a nice selection. We did enjoy a very nice bottle of Barbaresco. This restaurant did not meet our expectations of a great Italian restaurant and was only average at best.
