“Imaginative and unique flavors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

it was our first visit ,since it does not accept reservations. so we decided to go early (6PM). it was an experience in unique flavors, great service and a Margarita to die for. The small plates, vary in sizes so check before ordering. Some are really big ( calamari in citrus dressing) or Bisque (small serving). The main courses are to be shared, but a must try will be the risotto !
Pace yourself so there is room for the bread pudding. the recipe must have been sent from Heaven!
will be back soon!

“Tremendous evening out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014 via mobile

We were in town looking for fun, foodie restaurant. We found it!! Canyon was awesome. Our waiter Jeff was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He talked us into more of a tasting evening- ordering mainly from the appetizer and small plates menu. Tuna Tatar was to die for and the BBQ shrimp tostada was just too yummy. Everything was top notch and with all the restaurant choices in the area this is THE place to go.

“Save room for outstanding desserts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

If you love pecan pie, be sure to try this one. It rivals any in my experience. The white chocolate bread budding is also delicious.

“Great Restaurant, Fantastic Food & Drink, BUT......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

Let's start with the "BUT", they don't take reservations and the wait can be excessive-having said that all else is amazing. The restaurant is compact, a bit dark and noisy, however quite comfortable.

The Prickly Pear Margarita is their signature drink and it goes down way too easily--really delicious! I can speak with authority about how delicious and unique the sweet and spicy calamari appetizer is--succulent, great balance of tastes with a bit of a bite. There is a large variety of small plates, but I chose seared tuna--very well prepared and generous portion.

The waiter service was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and had a keen sense of OUR timing.
