Great location on the beach. Great food,service and interesting menu.

Great surroundings, service, and food. Went there twice - on Saturday night had live music - classy. Food was delicious. My husband and godson had the shrimp and I had the gazpacho for an appeteizer. Gazpacho was best I've had since I was in southern Spain. I had the yellowfin tuna one night and the grouper the next. Both were great. My husband had duck both nights and loved it. You can sit outside or inside by the fire. View of the moon and beach was amazing. It was just a short walk from the Tropi Rock - see my review there...great hotel!

My husband and I went on Saturday, March 3 for our anniversary for the first time after reading the reviews. We arrived there around 7:30pm. In the beginning I was not so impress because the first floor was crowded and noisy but we asked for seating upstairs like the reviews stated and we had a blast. Since we had a long waiting we decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. We had someone (hostess) approach us at the bar to let us know our seats were available. When we got upstairs the environment was really nice and quiet. I asked the hostess to sit my husband and I on the upper stage of the second floor which had a nice couch sitting area. The food was great, our service was great, and my husband and I enjoyed the overall experience.

We always eat here when we travel annually at Christmas to Fort Lauderdale on our way to Key West. Intimate, dark and cosy inside but we choose to sit out on the patio which is also nicely lit if possible and the weather usually allows this even in December. Excellent and varied choice of menu - huge portions though! Staff always friendly and attentive. Within easy walking distance of the Pillars at New River Sound and Sheraton Yankee Trader hotels. A lot of beachside construction work was being carried out this December so any of the restaurants along the front were noisy during the daytime if we were dining outside. Will definitely go to Casablancas again next trip.
