This place was recommended by our Hilton hotel concierge as having good food. (It is 3 blocks from the Hilton, right on the beach front.)
When we rolled in, I thought this bustling multi-level was a little shop worn, even dirty. It is poorly lit, dingy and needs a make-over. I was prepared for disaster.
I was wrong. Our pleasant waiter quickly brought adult beverages which were cold. Then, the food - which was good. I had a lovely grouper dish and the wife had another fish special. Perfect fish. Not frozen junk ; this fish was fresh and beautifully prepared. The total bill was about $80 and represented a good value for superb fish.
We returned for lunch the next day and had "OK" sandwiches. Dinner seems better than lunch.
I can recommend the expensive fish dishes without reservation. If you want luxury surroundings or hate crowds, try some other place.
