“Delicious food, ocean view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Had a fabulous dinner here with my boyfriend a few nights ago. I had picked out the restaurant from tripadvisor reviews, and once again TA did not disappoint. We ate outside with a fabulous view of the ocean (yes, it is next to the road, as are most restaurants along the beach here, but the speed limit seems to be fairly slow so the cars aren't whizzing by - not really an issue at all). Both the drinks and the food were fabulous and service was excellent. Was also within easy walking distance of our hotel (Hilton Beach Resort).

“huge uninteresting meals”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

I would not recommend sitting outside at any restaurant in fort lauderdale but especially ot at Casablanca - traffic and then the beach - apart from at the Grand Pelican which is a replica old building - lovely and ok cofee and icecreams. Don't bother with Casablanca!

“Best Meal All Week”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We just had one of our best meals in Fort Lauderdale. There were 5 of us dining tonight and everything we ordered was excellent! We started with calamari, buffalita salad and the baked brie. All were awesome. For entrees, we had the scallops (the best!), salmon and the lobster tails. For dessert we had creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. The evening was made just that much better by the excellent service we had from Tammy. She is very knowledgeable about the menu and food preparation. We have enjoyed all our meals this week including Houston's, Coconut's and Scarpia.

“Great restaurant with beach view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

We dined here last night, and it was a wonderful experience! Very prompt service, lovely view of the ocean and the night sky (like all establishments on the the beach, your view is across the street), superb food - lots of unique choices. Try the dates wrapped in applewood smoked bacon as an appetizer- delicious - and I definitely would not have thought so! The bread and dipping (more like spreading) emulsion they bring is to die for. We had the crispy crusted Scottish salmon w/ sun-dried tomatoes and balsamic drip and the a pan-seared Chilean sea bass with cauliflower mousse (which I also would not have thought could be so scrumptious). Pricing was reasinable for a nice restaurant in Ft. L. - entrees we had were $24 and $28- others from 18-35. It's very popular and takes no reservations, but has lots of seating outside, on deck, and inside in smaller rooms so decibel level in not a problem. We went at 7 and promptly got a table for 2 outside on a Tues. night. For parking, turn right (if going south on A1A) in front of restaurant, go to end of short block, and restaurant parking is on left - costs $5.
