“Very good Italian food with some classics you don't always see.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2010

This unassuming strip mall restaurant is so close to where my mother lives that I thought it couldn't possibly be all that good, but I was wrong. Old world ambiance and service greets you when you first walk in. Our waiter was an older man with a pleasant Italian accent who served us in a very friendly but not intrusive manner. The food was well prepared and abundant. While we perused the menu our waiter brought bread and some condiments, including a delicious three-bean type salad. My veal was delicious and tender, and lo and behold, the accompanying spaghetti was not mushy at all, with a tasty red sauce. We had no room for dessert, which was a shame, because they are prepared by hand and looked inviting. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I wasn't staying nearby, but if you are staying in the North Lauderdale, Tamarac, Sunrise, Plantation area you should not overlook this restaurant!

“WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2010

Where do I start? Front the begining the waiter, Stephen was unbelievably smug and cocky, we knew we were in for an evening...we just didn't realize HOW horrible things would get. Aside from being ignored a good portion of our meal toward the end when we recieved our check we noticed there was a 4$ charge for soup. Our meal was supposed to come with a soup but when we brought it up to the waiter he said it was a speciality soup and was more, after telling him we were never told about that and had we known we'd of picked 1 of the soups that were included with our meal. He then had the nerve to say "It's only 4 dollars I'll take it off". THEN came back and said the chef only was willing to take off 2$...If that wasn't a joke enough when we said fine, if we had to pay full price for a soup and didn't get the one that was supposed to come with our meal we said we'll take the soup or salad - he boxed the salad with such attitude i was SHOCKED. We were SO offended we didn't leave him and tip and were then chased out of the restaurant by Stephen CURSING at us! We immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, she couldn't care less.. NEVER AGAIN

but honestly for that price go to ft lauderdale or a real restaurant, this place is in the ghetto next to a strip club.

“WOW!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2010

Found this lovely restaurant on a Friday night, after driving around and finding many chain restaurants with a minimum hour wait time. It was our first time in the Fort Lauderdale area, and feel sooooooo fortunate to have found this restaurant! The food was wonderful! Wife had a shrimp, clams, and mussel with spicy red sauce... excellent. I had a special of the evening that was a HUGE veal chop, served with the leg. It was topped with cheese, and an excellent tomato sauce. The restaurant sits in a strip mall, near an Adult Caberet (haha); just so those reading know what to look for (haha). I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. I'm from Philly area, and would put this restaurant at the top of the listing for great Italian food in the South Philly Italian neighborhood. The ambience is typical of a stylish Italian restaurant. And the service... attentive, but relaxing! Extensive menu to fit everyone's taste, and a good wine selection that is reasonibly prices. Highly recommend this restaurant to all!

“Oh, yes !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2006

What a wonderfully pleasant surprise - tucked away in a strip shopping area where you would not expect to find it, the food is wonderful, the service is personal, attentive and not overbearing, the wine is craefully selected and the price is well within reason for the quality. We found it by accident but now we make it a point to find it intentionally and frequently.
