Mancini's has moved to a new location with the new name mentioned above and the food is wonderful! I can tell from the menu description that the earlier reviewer was at the new restaurant at 401 E. Las Olas. We experienced the same almost empty restaurant on a Friday night. I think the confusion over the addresses may be the reason. The restaurant is sleek and beautiful and the music fits the sophisticated atmosphere. It was actually possible to have a conversation because the acoustics were good and the music wasn't too loud. The chef is amazing. We shared the octopus, very smoky from the wood grill with a delicious pesto sauce. We then shared a housemade fettucini with homemade veal sausage and mushrooms. The pasta was out of this world. The menu called for a certain pasta but we requested a different shape and the chef was more than willing to accommodate us. For a third course, we shared a whole branzino over spinach and it was perfectly cooked. We enjoyed it so much we are returning this week. Don't miss this place!
