We had heard about Lesters for the 5 yrs we have lived in SoFla, but did not visit until this past July. We now visit Lesters once or twice a week.
The food is always excellent. From sandwiches all the way to the Greek Sampler platter. The dinner specials come with bread, soup or salad, a generous portion of entree and side dishes and dessert. The sandwiches are excellent, the seafood dishes are excellent, the Italian dishes are excellent. Sometimes diners fall short on dishes that may require a bit more preparation than a basic sandwich and fries, but that is not the case at Lesters.
The hostess and waitstaff are always very pleasant. The bus boys are constantly on the move cleaning tables. The restaurant isnt fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it is pleasant and more importantly it is CLEAN!!!
You get a good amount of food for your money. I cannot imagine that it would be any cheaper to make this food at home yourself!
