We spent a week here on a time share exchange. The staff is wonderful. The units are basic, clean and the location is perfect. This is a great place for those that enjoy taking walks. It is possible to walk north to the Galleria, or south to large park /picnic area on the ocean. Also close to Bahia Mar and Swimming Hall of Fame. Beautiful sunrise photo opportunity here too. The beach area just to north is primarily occupied by gay males, but if you stay in area just in front of this property, you will be fine. They did a midweek cleaning, which was new to us. Also units had supplies such as paper towels, salt and pepper, and tissue that you normally don't find upon arrival. Kitchen area is small, but we didn't do a lot of cooking so it was fine for the two of us. We would stay here again just because of the staff and great location.

We were traveling with 3 boys so the one bedroom with two pull out sofas was a little tight. The place was in a little old, but nicely maintained and very clean. The staff was very helpful and offered us warm chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. They also offered free VHS and DVD movies to borrow. Everything in the full kitchen worked well. The pool and grounds were very nice and there was a great view from the pool area of the beach. The location was great and close to everything. The resort offered beach towels to use each day, and had a free midweek room cleaning.

My Fiance and I stayed at the Silver Seas for 3 nights, and we will be back. You can't beat the location, and the property and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was the bed in the studio. It was a pull down bed, and while that was great in that it gave us more room, the bed itself was pretty hard and uncomfortable. It was fine though for 3 nights, but if we were to stay longer we would get the 1 bedroom. As far as the quality of the room you could tell it wasn't a new property by any means, but they have kept everything up nicely and you could tell the appliances were newer, it also looked like it had been painted recently, and the furniture looked pretty new too. The people in the office were very nice. The pool was nice and clean and they had a nice sundeck for people watching on the main promenade. Everything was in walking distance, w/ many bars, shops, and restaurants w/ in a block or so. The beach was beautiful, as always. All in all this was a great place to stay, as long as you are not expecting the Ritz. Not sure how much longer it will be here though, as there are many huge hotels going up all around it. I hope it is still there when we decide to return, b/c we will stay again! :)

This property is located across the street from the beach (as all Fort Lauderdale beach locations are). It is in a good location with many shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms have different bedding configurations with a kitchen set-up. Overall, it is a tired property, but has been maintained. Staff is very nice and friendly. Rooms seemed very clean. No problems with parking. If you're looking for an average accommodation in a GREAT LOCATION, this might be for you.
