We booked a week here. Absolutely
disgusting! Rusty, dirty refrig, bathroom has duct tape
in the sink, soap dish had been "ripped" out if
the shower, the kitchen had chunks of laminate torn
off, the furniture had stains that looked like
the place is rented by the hour, our big roaches
were at least dead but there were several and we
were told "it's Florida," stained pillows in the
closet, staind towels, FILTHY pool. And Sharon the
manager? No help at all. Screamed at us when
we complained and said "I let you check in
early." A few hours wouldn't have made a
difference because this place needed more than a general cleaning.. We took many picture and the room is
NOTHING like it is advertised on the web site.
Total misrepresentation and false advertising.
There are many places in the same area that have
been remodeled but some are still old and old is fine if it is clean. Would definitely not recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Seagate,pre and post cruise We arrived at the hotel before check in time and our rooms were ready for occupancy immediately. The room's were 60's style but very clean and spacious . The manager, Sharon, made us feel like a part of the family. She went above and beyond in accomodating us. We have already booked next years cruise and plan on contacting, Sharon for accomodations. It was a great stay. I would highly recommend it .

I have stayed at this motel twice now. Pre Cruise in March, 2007 and for 3 nights post cruise in Dec., 2007. both times, I found it to be clean, spacious, and hte staff friendly and willing to accommodate. The access to the beach is second to none for the price. and I would not hesitate to book time there again.

We stayed at the Sea Gate Motel 2 nights pre cruise in late January '08 and 2 nights post cruise in early February '08. Everything was better than expected. We rented an efficiency apartment. The room was clean and roomy. The refrigerator was new as was the stove. The location is fantastic. Two blocks from the beach, shopping, dinner and small store for those munchies. The manager, Sharon, was very pleasurable and helpful, always asking if we needed anything or if she could be of any help. The grounds were kept very clean and the pool was crystal clear and heated. We went back after our cruise for 2 nights on Super Bowl Sunday. Sharon had a party for the guests. It was nice to have something akin to a family atmosphere watching the Super Bowl outside. We felt very welcome while staying here. We are from the Buffalo/Niagara Falls. NY area. We are already planning our cruise for '09 and will definately be giving Sharon a call to book our rooms.
