I was in Ft Laud 8 days - a long weekend for fun with a few days on each side for work. I wanted to stay at a place which was small enough to be personal, had cool hosts, and would be fun staying at by myself. New Zealand House was perfect. My room was very clean, overlooking the pool and garden - a very nice view, especially lit up at night. I met some great people from all over the country and Europe. The Victoria Park location is very central to Wilton Manors, the beach, and Las Olas. Hi-Speed wireless on the property was very convenient for business.

What truly makes New Zealand House special are the owners - Warren and Ric. They take so much pride in the place doing most everything themselves, and in my experience their hospitality is unsurpassed. They serve drinks poolside every day and really make their guests feel comfortable. It was a great palce to relax during the day as well as to come home to after work. (I was always greeted with a drink to be made for me or, if I was going to be working late, an offer to have one waiting for me in my refrigerator!)

I've stayed at a some nice gay guest houses with some excellent hosts. But the hospitality at New Zealand House is beyond comparison. Warren and Ric are genuinely concerned and focused on their guests' comfort and happiness, and it shows. They are great guys. I've already booked again for the next time I will be in town.

This was my second visit to NZH, and I stayed a total of 9 nights. The hosts and guests are friendly, relaxed, accepting and personable. It provides an atmosphere that is pleasant and congenial. Often newly formed friends would form dinner parties or outings. Good central location for singles and couples, business or pleasure. The rooms are spacious and clean, well furnished and nicely appointed. I look forward to staying there again when in Fort Lauderdale.

On a seven day trip to Miami Beach myself and three friends made the decision that we should give Fort Lauderdale a try. We stayed at the New Zealand House during the weekend of May 6’th and had a truly terrific experience. Our room was spectacular with the beds being particularly comfortable. You were made to feel right at home by Warren and Ric, they were just simply wonderful hosts. Plus swimming in a heated pool and stargazing at the same time, you can’t ask for anything more romantic. Next time I'm in Fort Lauderdale I know where my first choice is for a place to stay.

Loved our recent stay at the New Zealand House. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure a pleasant stay. Our room was modern, comfortably furnished and impeccably clean. Particularly notewarthy was relaxing around the pool and it's tropical setting. The complimentary breakfast by the pool is something to look forward to. We are already planning our return visit.
