“Take your dog for a walk in a really nice park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Great place to have a picnic, take a hike, ride your bike and bring your dog! Easy trail along the intercoastal------ tables and grills for picnics and bathroom facilities near ocean entrance. Canoe and kayak rentals available. Parking in several areas of the park.

“Take a hike”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

for $2 you can walk thru the park and the many trails. Once done with the exploring you can go right to the beach. It was a two hour hike we did in the park. We walk rather slow. You go thru a tunnel to the beach. Everything was nice and clean.

“Ocean access”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is a busy park and the ocean access through a tunnel is the most interesting part. It's nice that it's between the ocean and intracoastal. Bathrooms aren't close together and there are few services. We've always seen a lot of rollerbladers and bikes. Pavillions are average and nothing for large groups.

“A bit of nature at the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Nature area right by the beach, preserving some of what Fort Lauderdale was like before development. If you're lucky (as I was), you might see some manatees in the intracoastal waterway that borders the park.
