Nice owners, small hotel, very close to the beach a GREAT PLUS and a trolley stops almost in front of it. The room was okay, some areas needed a handy man to fix up/ patchwork. The pool was nice but some tiles were missing. The hotel overall was okay. I wanted a hotel within walking distance to places which is what I got and right near the beach. If the room was less than a $100, it would have been a descent deal , but I paid more. Also the pictures of the hotel were much better than in person but some of the other hotels listed had better looking photos than in person too, which is what I noticed as I went for my daily walks. I had fun though...beach to pool at hotel to dinner...what more can anyone ask for.

I got back yesterday from my stay at The Premiere Hotel. It's a great
location---one-half block from the beach and the family that runs it is very hospitable. I was in #103. It had 2 double beds, a kitchenette (great for saving money on breakfast), and it was very clean. No sugar ants! The bath water was always hot, and the tub didn't have a clog. My complaints are that the air conditioner was old and very loud---bring earplugs if you want a good night's sleep. Every time I left my room I spent at least 5 minutes trying to lock my door, which I felt was a real pain in the neck. Don't drive a large car/SUV because the underground parking area is small. I didn't
know this when I reserved, and I ended up renting a Chevy SUV and scraped the side while I was pulling out one night. Try to reserve rooms facing Belmar St., because I believe those might be the most quiet rooms. I wish I could buy the place and refurbish it to give it a "South Beach" sort of feel.

The location is great.
The family that runs the hotel is very friendly.
Free parking was one of the reasons why we booked.
We were upgraded for a two bedroom apartment, because we didn't want to carry our luggage through the stairs to another floor. But the owners will help you with the luggage anyway.

We stayed at this hotel on 2/24/07 - just before spring break. We were very surprised by this hotel. We booked their cheapest room and were upgraded to an efficiency room for the cheaper price. The room was very big even with a full kitchen and 2 double beds in it. The room was very clean, but had some rough edges - nothing I couldn't easily overlook based on the price. The towels were equal to those found in high-end resorts. The beds were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Free movies for the in-room VCR are available at the front desk. They had a small parking area under the building that may be inadequate if the hotel is full.

The location is great, just 1/2 block from the beach. Note that in Fort Lauderdale, NO hotel is on-the-beach. Route A1A separates the beach from all buildings, so there is no need to pay extra for a hotel facing the beach. You are actually better off being a little back from the road, since it gets very busy and noisy.

This has to be the best deal in Fort Lauderdale.
