“Great Seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

Nice to sit on the water and have a great meal. Started with some appetizers, which included crab cakes, conch fritters and a lobster bisque bowl. All were top shelf. For my main course, I had a Pirate Bowl, which included mussels, clams, fish, calamari and aquid. Top shelf. My friend had a Tahiti Bowl, which also had coconut milk rice. My only issue, was price. It was high, but seafood isn't cheap. Will retun again. Worth a trip. In season, parking may be a problem, but you can come by Water Taxi, also.

“Never on Sunday or maybe Never Again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

October 6th, 2014. Arrived Sunday afternoon 5PM--only 2 people at outside tables(bad sign) all other tables were empty.
Ordered the Calamari as an appitizer and 2 Pirate Burgers done Medium Rare @ ($13.50) each burger. Both ordered the same with Bacon, Lettuce Tomato and Cheddar cheese and French Fries.
Result: Calamari arrived after about 15 minutes----nicely seasoned but well overcooked and rubbery. Michelle (our waitress) nicely apologized and returned it to the kitchen. Replacement appetizer arrived about 5 minutes later as well as our 2 Bugers all at the same time.

Now we have the choice of eating the Calamari while the Burgers get cold or wasting the calamari and going directly to the Burgers..Except now the Burgers are wrong.
Neither of the $13.50 burgers had the bacon we requested, only one had cheese and there was nowwhere to be found of Mayo we requested or Ketchup for the burgers or the fries.

So back to the Calamari while we wait for the waitress to follow-up with the Mayo, ketchup and the missing cheese.. Michelle finally reappears with 2 slices of cold cheese, a side dish of bacon and a tiny dalloop--could not have been one ounce total----- of ketchup on a square white porcelind ash-tray shaped dish. Of course the burger is now barely warm and if reheated to melt the cheese would have been cooked beyond recognition. I ordered additional ketchup and a similar dollop was served so consequenty my date choose to pass on ketchup for her fries and burger. The Burger was passable if you eat your food luke warm but far beyond "Reasonably Priced.
This kitchen is obviously untrained, unsupervised and lacking any urgency for quality. I can only imagine what is served when there are more people in this (dare I say---Restaurant?????)
Michelle--our server should also have know that when she returned the Calamari to the kitchen she should have told the cook to hold off on preparation of the Burgers so that appatizer and Main items would not all be served at the same exact time. Dose the kitchen really read the food tickets, review the item before it goes out or just make $13.50 burgers anyway they see fit.
After we got our check the waitress apologized regarding the items that were served by telling us that we were not charged for our beverages. What a JOKE!!! This restaurant lost the revenue from our beverages --the most profitable item of the check---because some lazy kitchen employee is undertraind, unsupervised, and lacking desire to serve quality. NO WE NEVER DID SEE OR HEAR FROM ANY ON-SITE MANAGER OR OWNER.

NEVER ON SUNDAY!!! AND PROBABLY NEVER AGEIN !!!
Respectfully,
John L. Derynda

“Interesting Menu....Interesting place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

The restaurant has all outdoor seating. We were seated promptly and our server was very helpful. I had the lobster chowder in the bread bowl . It was very good. I also had the caprese salad. It was delicious. Others at our table had the seafood bowls. They were generous portions of seafood combinations.

“Consistently wonderful food, great views, right on the water”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Love the fish dishes - prepared to perfection by a Chef who clearly knows what he's doing, and what fish goes with what sauces etc. - they are outstanding. Hummus is wonderful - it's right on the water so great to get to by boat - easy docking - great service. Portion sizes are large too (speaking from experience with the fish dishes, because they're pretty much all we have when we go there) - we usually get an entree fish dish and a portion of hummus and share - and that usually is enough for us. So convenient - and love it because it's before the railway bridge goes down - when that sucker goes down, it can be down for half an hour with 100 car train going through - so if your destination is beyond the bridge, good luck waiting!

“Good food and drink. Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

We visited the resturant while visiting family. We had seen the resturant from across the river and decided to hunt it down. And we were certainly not disappointed. The food was very good, and the burger I had was one of the best I've ever had. He cocktail list was very good and definitely worth a try. The location is perfect and you can sit right next to the river to enjoy your food and drink. This is definitely worth a visit.
