We stayed there for one night prior to a cruise. I picked this hotel because with 2 big teenagers we were very comfortable in one room. Sometimes when we go away we need to rooms. The bedroom had 2 Queen beds, not doubles and the sofabed in the livingroom was a queen as well. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom shower was one of the best I ever had in a hotel. We had a very large balcony with a great view. The coffee maker in the room was one of those individual pod machines. We called the front desk for more and within 5 minutes housekeeping was there with a weeks worh of coffee.
Another reason I chose this hotel was because of the proximity to the water taxi which we couldn't use do to the weather. We ended up eating in the restaurant which was very reasonably priced for sandwiches and the wait staff was very accomodating for special orders. I had one drink at the bar which I thought was a bit pricey. Parking is a bit expensive but it was nothing I didn't know about in advance. definitely a great location if you are going on a cruise out of Port everglades.

Aug. 30th we stayed for one night using Hilton Hhonors Points. Glad to say that we had none of the problems some have reported. I was aware of the parking fee. Would advise to self park for $18 vs the $21 for valet after witnessing a valet parker looking like he was off for a joy ride in a very nice car. Check in did seem to have some issues as the person who checked in just ahead of us returned to the desk to report that they had just unlocked the door to find a couple in the room (they were given the wrong room!) Not good. I didn't find the elevators to be extra slow although one made eerie sounds. Our room was a city view but you could see the intercoastal in the distance from the balcony. The room was very clean and everything was in working order. Comfy beds and great TV's. The kitchen was nice w/ stainless steel appliances. Didn't like that the ice was on the 4th floor, we were on the 12th! With only a walk in shower (very nice marble and tile) could be an issue for families w/ young children w/ no tub. The location is great though. Felt safe. It was walking distance to the beach, Galleria Mall and the water taxi! Highly recommend dining at PF Changs at the mall ( the shrimp w/ candied walnuts is to die for! ) Can't wait to eat there again! Take the water taxi after 7 pm for a leisurely cruise for $7 pp (it takes about two hours if you just want to ride down and back). We did have a fire alarm Sun AM (while I was in the shower no less!) Thank goodness it was a false alarm but we never heard an all clear to return to our room but found out after going down 4 flights of stairs when met up w/ others returning, Bet the elevators were really slow then! All in all I would definitely stay here again, if the price is right again!

Convenient location just a short walk to the beach and next door to the Galleria with some great resturants. Each time I stay at this property I seem to find it less and less functional. Besides being known for continual elevator problems here's an example. When I entered my suite I flipped the light switch by the door - nothing happened. I found my way into the dark room and into the ktichen where I was sure I would find a light switch - no luck. I turned on a lamp and found my way to the bedroom where, once again, I flipped a wall switch. Nothing. After unpacking I sat down in the sitting area and saw a light switch on the wall. Guess what? It turned on the kitchen light. I flipped on the large flat screen TV (to large for the room) and 10 minutes later it turned off. I turned it back on and it turned off in 5 minutes. I repeated this a few more times and called the front desk to ask if there was a reason that the TV kept turning off. The clerk told me that they were aware of the problem but couldn't fix and that it might be caused by the draw bridge. I asked if I could move to a new room for my second night but was told "it won't help".
Comfortable bed, nice shower and overall a very pleasent room.
In the morning I made my way to the "cup-at-time" coffee maker and realized that housekeeping had provided 2 decaf coffee pods. Not exactly what I was looking for at 6AM. At 8:00AM, with the 2nd cup of decaf in hand, the door sprang open and the startled housekeeper said "sorry".
Again, nice property but it's apparent that the management doesn't have an eye for the details.

This hotel looks nice and new.
Its the small things that you expect that weren't there.
On arrival, $18 dollars a night for self parking. Location is good about 10 minute walk to beach, no problem. Galleria mall was nice next door. When arrived at room, tv did not work in the bedroom, maintenance came and fixed it. Elevators are TERRIBLE. Slow and miss floors. Food extremely expensive. We ate in with groceries and went to use the dishwasher, it was not on. After fiddling, it turns out one of many light switches in the room were controlling the power for some appliances. The phone line did not work so maintenance came and fixed that. Then the microwave did not work. Maintenance came and fixed it, third time to room. This was all in a three night stay. And then the door would open without a key, really weird. We called them and they fixed it. Don't get me wrong, these guys know what there working with but we weren't in our room that often and they had to come four times. This was annoying and the overall hotel condition appears to be weakining compared to previous pictures. Most staff were friendly including all housekeeping but I suggest they check everything after a stay because having to call maintenence up four times was not ideal. Will not return.

I am a Diamond Hilton Member. I have stayed at this hotel 10 times this year. Each stay gets worse. I wont come back. There are good rooms (size, view, balcony) and there are bad (low shower water pressure, adjoining balconies enabling you to smell smoke from the other, broken appliances).

The front desk staff do no know the hotel. A request for no adjoining balcony gets "i think this room doesn't" which of course is always wrong. Calls to the front desk go unanswered.

Very slow elevators which change direction when they stop on certain floors.

I will not come back.
