Firstly, the Hotel is rather uniquely located along the west side of the intracoastal which means if you get a high enough room (floor 10 and above with waterviews) then you'll have a great view of not only the intracoastal but also the ocean. As many have also mentioned its very conveniently situated next to Galleria but also only a short walk over the bridge to the beach. In the beach direction there a few good and reasonably priced restaurants (a Mexican and an Italian?). Also, a few laid back cheaper bars where you can kick back and have a few drinks without breaking the bank. In the other direction is Galleria where you can pay a fortune for a meal or eat on a tight budget. Theres a mini Starbucks in the lobby and a full blown Starbucks across the street where you can of course use internet for free. Parking is valet only but if you're a little investigative you can street park for nothing. Also a tip for anyone looking to stay at Gallery One and who wants to save money by cutting out the usual commission based Websites. Look on Flipkey or VRBO for units that are being listed to rent by the owner. As I understand it all the units are privately owned but most are in the Hilton rental program. Those that aren't are much cheaper to rent from the owner.
