“Good, but maybe not necessary. ”

Made a point to visit when in ft la. Lauderdale. Enjoyed burgers. Very good. Recommend the fried onions on the burger. Crunchy onion strings on top of your burger. I don't think you need to make a special trip though.

“Excellent find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

Tried for the first time. Came for something in between lunch and supper/dinner - hence an "in-between" meal.

Enjoyed a superb home-made roasted tomato soup - great taste and depth of flavor, with plenty of real tomatoes in there.

Next up was an oriental grilled chicken salad that came with water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and a tangy peanut sauce as well as tender, grilled chicken. We also had a mahi mahi salad that was good, though not interesting enough to rate as excellent.

When you include the very warm welcome and excellent service this place is rated overall as Excellent despite a rather boring strip plaza location

“Good food but odd service method”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

An earnest owner will greet you on entering, and extol the virtues of the food. (She gets an "E" for effort.) Then, oddly, you proceed down a fast food type serving line, pay, go get your own paper cup drinks, then go sit and wait for your food. It's like the management can't decide if they can pull off true wait staff service or not, so they charge full price but make you do half their work. The food is decent, but the existing wait staff could provide table service and earn a lot better tips. Lastly, the cashier told me to not forget to leave a tip on our table. But who's tipping me for the work that I did? Strange.

“Average-to-Good Burger Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

This is an unpretentious, popular restaurant in a strip mall. The service is friendly and personal, and the owner makes a point of welcoming and chatting to the diners. We ate here twice and the burgers are undeniably good, fresh, and meaty. Recommend the sweet potato fries. Drinks include free refills. Very clean and staff are quick to clear tables. My only suggestion would be to toast or at least warm the buns, as a good homemade burger on a fridge-cold bun is not that appealing.

“Great Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

This restaurant located in the Harbor Shops Mall right behind Embassy Suites was the perfect place for a casual meal. From the moment we walked in until we left the staff was friendly and welcoming. You order at the counter and when the meals are ready they are brought to your table. The food was really good - great chicken wings, Caesar salad with chicken, grilled salmon and fabulous burgers got rave reviews from our group. This immaculately clean restaurant with a fun décor and reasonable prices, also, serves beer and wine. We'll be back on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale.
