overall: very nice people, seems like a well-managed small (family) establishment. not fancy, but affordable and a good value.

was in Ft Lauderdale for 2 nights on business. sort of last-minute arrangements, and they were flexible and accommodating. the room was not very large, but it seemed clean. there were minor cosmetic issues in the room and the property seemed a little old. decent location, with several restaurants and bars within walking distance.

beach access was not very convenient - i didn't realize the beach properties across from Galt Villas were all private and i didn't find the public access (hint: go South, not North), so i i had to kind of trespass through some restaurant to get to the beach.

all in all, i would certainly consider staying here next trip to FLL, but i might pick somewhere else if Galt Villas was not convenient.

Half an hour far from the airport and the port, this motel on the right border of a main road is a bit far from Fort Lauderdale town center. So, you do not really have a choice to eat or drink...
Luckilly there's a supermarket on the other side of the road and a kitchen in the room. If not, you can order a pizza.
If the room is luminous, spacious and with selfcatering facilities, it's not very clean (dont look to close to everything) and the matress is more tired than you.
If you can, find a better hotel elsewhere! 

Stayed for 2 nights while in town to watch Alabama destroy Notre Dame in the National Championship game. We were shocked at the price we got for this hotel. It was clean and in a good, safe location. If you're looking for a place or resort with a lot of amenities and luxuries, then go somewhere else. If you're looking for a great deal on a clean, safe place in a good location, check out the Galt Villas.

I had to book a room on very short notice, and this motel stood out based on price and review. I was not disappointed when I arrived. The staff was friendly, the room was as advertised, and the location turned out to be pretty good.

As I was travelling on business I didn't need proximity to many amenities, but driving a short distance I could see easy access to beaches and restaurants. It's right on a wide road, so access to the rest of the area is pretty easy by car. Winn Dixie and CVS are across the street, there was a refrigerator in the room, and a Dominos a short walk away.

The room itself was clean. The High Speed Internet access was High Speed. The decor was dated, but pleasant. I might not make this my first choice for a romantic getaway with the wife, but I could definitely see bringing the family here for vacation.

If I'm ever back in Ft. Lauderdale I would definitely consider staying here again.
