“We are boaters and frequently use the ICW”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

The ICW is much safer down here compared to whoa long up Jersey-way. Caution should be taken by Haulover Inlet with shifting shoal there otherwise all good. Don't like uneducated paddle boarders blocking boats'ways going under bridges...they are oblivious apparently to forces of inertia and don't know a 33 ton vessel can't stop if they fall off in front trying to cross. We paddle board also and are worried regulations restricting sport will occur if someone gets hurt by a boat. Also watch out for manatees everyone

“water taxi ride”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

This is one one of the trips we take all our visiting friends on. The Water Taxi is a little more pricey than it used to be, before they lost the subsidy , But as a tourist attraction it is reasonable. Just not as everyday transportation. The captains on the taxis are great. You get a running commentary on the various homes and attractions. You get to see both some fabulous homes and more fabulous yachts. If big boats are your thing this is the place to go. Even without the boat show. Sometime we rent a small motor boat and take our friends on our own little excursion on the waterway. But be sure you know and observe the rules. Pay attention to no wake zones-they are enforced and manatee have right of way. If it is not to hot it is great way to spend a day. Bring a cooler with food and drink or stop at one of the many places along the way.

“Loved the water taxi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Saw the mega yachts and beautiful mansions. One stop we ate at a cheesecake factory and another went to a mall and ate lunch. Drivers were very informative!

“Unbelievable homes and yachts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

The water taxi takes you on a spectacular tour of gorgeous mansions with their multi million dollar yachts. The guides are knowledgeable about many of the current and former owners. Be ready with your tips...they are very blatant about expecting them.

“sightseeing boatride”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

The Jungle Queen involves a 3 hour trip which includes stopping at a small animal preserve and the opportunity to purchase refreshments. The other waterway sightseeing boats are out for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
