“A great way to see the sights from the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

We spent an enjoyable day hopping on and off the water taxis and seeing the sights of Fort Lauderdale, especially how the other 1% live. The boats by and large kept to the posted schedules, and we didn't mind waiting for them anyway since we were in lovely surroundings in glorious sunshine. I'm not sure I'd feel the same if I was relying on them for a taxi service rather than just for sight-seeing, though.

“Enjoyed seeing the waterway via the Water taxi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Via the water taxi saw the port , the canal, the big boats and the homes. As well, went down to Hollywood beach for the afternoon.

Double decker boat Friendly helpful staff gave a good narration as we toured about. Loved the hop on hop off options at great stops.

“Water Taxi - A Disappointment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

Was looking forward to spending the day hopping on and off the water taxi as we did last time we were in Ft Lauderdale; however we spent more time waiting for the water taxi to arrive. Forget schedules, not even close to being on time, so instead of getting to dinner at one of our favorite spots, we wound up heading back to the hotel. We were told that we'd pick up the return taxi at Joe's in Hollywood rather than where we got off. After waiting a half hour a boat went by and said we had to go back to our original drop-off point and wait for the next boat as they were no longer stopping at Joe's. We had gotten off at 1:20 it was now 4:10, how could they not know they were changing the pick-up stop?? Very disappointing but a lovely ride on the water nonetheless. Beats fighting the traffic if you're OT in a hurry.

“do not use their map”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

The map is lousy and the numbers they show do not correspond to the actual stop numbers (stop 2 on the map is actually number 9). We got off at the wrong stop in error and almost missed the last taxi because of this. It would help if the operators would call out the stop numbers. Also no restrooms and was cash only. Brochure needs much updating.
