Ok, i really dont know where to start! but this place SMELLS LIKE MOLD! For example me and my boyfreind dont have asthma but staying there for not even an hour helped us understand how these people feel because we literaly could not breath!!

First of all don't accept any packages from the "Imperial Cruise Line" it is more like a boat ride and that all inclusive stuff is not true in this case. Imperial Cruise line called us with this offer so we can "promote" the packages they have. Well guess what don't do it.

Furthermore, this ramada plaza resort place should not even be called a resort. The outside appearence looked decent nothing fancy and we r not "fancy" people so we were ok until we got inside. before traveling to fort lauderdale we looked at trip advisor and saw the results. i beleive that some people are extremly nice because i wouldnt even leave my clothes in thos rooms. the elevator had like hand written numbers at keaced it seemed like that. i was holding my breath to get to the room mabye then the smell of mold would have gotten away but it got worse. my boyfriend picked up the sheets and besides the fact that they felt moist they were kinda yellow in some places. we didnt stay much to tell you about the staff and rest but after that first experience we couldnt. we went to the front desk and left the key and they didnt even ask us why or anything (we didnt even stay there for and hour) they just told us to go back to the welcome center and when i told the lady i was leaving with a great laugh she responded "what happed u dont like my 5 star hotel?" my dog house smells better than that place. please dont even consider going there you are going to waste ur time. we ended upgetting another hotel (great price, great hotel conviniet location) but if we had not? we would of slept in the car.

p.s. dont forget do not le imperial majesty cruise line sell you anything. you are going to waste every dime of your money cause thats what exactly happened to us. trhe cruise taht they offeryou can go on with a couple of hundred and i think even less. Total rip off. at least we had saved up and made our week worth while in other places because what imperial and ramada resotrs had to offer were terrible.

We booked this hotel because of the price. When we got there, we realized that this was the same hotel we were "sucked" into staying six years ago. This was where the Ramada Vacation Resorts booked us. At that time, they appeared to be renovating so we thought, it has to be better. We were wrong.
The man that checked us in was wearing a big yellow smiley button and never cracked a smile. The elevators were old and dirty. The numbers for the floors were hand written on the buttons. We took the elevator down from our room and it wouldn't stop on the first floor.
The hallways were dark and the carpet was old and filthy. the smell of urine in the halls was awful! Our room had a lot to be desired.
Needless to say, we didn't stay. When we brought our room keys to the front desk, they looked surprised, took the keys and didn't even ask what the problem was. They apparently knew what the problems were from experience.
Pay the extra money for nice hotel!

Believe all the reviews you read. This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. It is your normal 1-2 star hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the pool/Tiki Bar area. The room had 2 full sized beds one hardly held both my husband and I. The room had a musky smell and the windows had mold growing on them. We had to call the front desk on the second day of being in this hotel to have clean towels to shower that night. They took the dirty towels but didn't replenish the ones they took. Then when I called the front desk the receptionst asked how many towels we needed. My response to her was whatever amount you would normally leave. What hotel doesn't replace used towels? This dump.

The view out of our room window was seeing the trashy mobile home park (Ghetto) in the back of the hotel. The staff was friendly and the breakfast food was good.

If you want to have a great vacation in Fort Lauderdale don't stay here. Pay the extra money to stay in a 4-5 star hotel that you know will be clean and will replenish the room with clean towels.

OMG!! worse than the super 8 motel. the elevelators were old, dungeon looking and dirty, the front desk help was nice however. the room was dusty and dirty, the bathtub water came out yellow, only one set of towels in the room, very little counter sink space. our view outside the window was a dumpy trialer park. it was horrible that we ending up leaving and not even staying there it just wasn't worth it.

I stayed in this hotel with my sister for 9-10 days. She booked it and the price ws pretty good, considering how long we stayed there.

We had good housekeeping staff who cleaned everything and changed the bedsheets every day, and we had a nice bathroom. The rooms are big and spacious, in my opinion, and the central air is good. I especially loved the pool and bar area, which were kept very clean and had lounge chairs and clean towels daily for our use out of the pool. There was even a hammock nearby. There's a small but nice little souvenir shop where one can get everything from painkillers to bathing suits (I bought 2) for decent prices. The lobby area is nice and clean and houses a few chairs for people to sit in so as not to tire themselves out by standing. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant, we ordered room service from the restaurant and the food was quite good. There's also a big parking lot and we were often able to find a parking space, no matter how late it was when we returned from wherever we went. I think the lighting in the parking lots should be better at night, however.

The location was good as well; it's only 15 minutes away from Ft. Lauderdale Beach and Las Olas Blvd., which is good for you shoppers out there. We bought a few things over there, and the beach is really nice. There are also a bunch of hotels and hot spots (bars, clubs, etc.) right at the beachfront. Across the street from the hotel was some food and a grocery store or two, and any other food was within a few minutes away via car.

Our main (and probably only) complaint about the hotel was that we wound up having to switch rooms because after a few days of us staying there, my sister saw a huge roach or waterbug by the air conditioner. We immediately called the front desk and they switched our room within minutes, which impressed me. They were very prompt. The 2nd room we stayed in was good, with no waterbugs or roaches.

I would stay again, but if possible I'd make sure that an exterminator went through my room before arriving.
