I specifically chose the Alhambra based upon previous reviews on TripAdvisor - - they did not disappoint. Everyone was very nice, the location was literally steps from the beach, and the resort was clean & well-kept. The free breakfast was healthy & portable (fresh fruit, coffee to-go, cereal bars, muffins, etc.) The pool area is a secluded oasis with a heated pool and pretty landscaping. The Alhambra also offers the use of their beach chairs, towel, & umbrellas for days on the waterfront - less than 2 blocks away. Other resorts charge daily rental fees for this amenity! Overall, it's such a wonderful, easy, breezy vacation spot!!

I was traveling with my young son and the guests & staff were all friendly towards us. Everyone we encountered was laid back, with a cheerful smile, and that was so appreciated.

It was a great experience and we would definitely go back or recommend this to friends!!

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Alhambra Beach Resort. Let me tell you something, if your looking to kick back and relax in a beautiful setting with great service and the perfect host(Matt), than you need to stay here. I love the court yard/pool area the best. The landscaping is incredible, the pool size just right, the rooms very clean, and the owner(Matt) goes out of his way to make sure your enjoying every minute of your vacation. This is the best kept secret in all of Ft. Lauerdale. I only wish there were others like it, but to tell you the truth this place is going to be very hard to top let alone duplicate.

We are torn between raving about this property and keeping it a hidden secret. We can't stop talking about what a wonderful experience we had at the Alhambra Beach Resort. The owner, Matt, and the team were friendlier to us than family. What a calm, non-pretentious, warm and friendly atmosphere. We've been to various upscale hotels around the world, but never to a hotel that was genuinely there to make you feel at home.

I was lucky to find the Alhambra through Tripadvisor, and even luckier that they just happened to have one hotel room left as a result of a cancellation for my "spur of the moment solo vacation." In addition to being a charming hotel in a great location, the rooms were exceptionally clean and the owner, Matt, and his staff were incredible! They met me at the gate when I arrived and were there when I reluctantly left. My stay was only four nights, yet as I left, I felt like I was leaving good friends. I've never before taken the time to write a review of anything, but feel compelled to highly recommend the Alhambra to anyone traveling to Fort Lauderdale!
