We just came back from a week at La Casa del Mar and had a fantastic stay. My wife and I travelled with our three children (ages 5 - 8) and could not have been more pleased. The proprietors, Tom and Sunny, were very accomodating and made the vacation truly memorable for our children. The location was also superb - a very quiet street one block from the beach. If you are looking for a sterile hotel room and all of the amenities of a luxury resort, don't stay here (and be prepared to pay a lot more.) If you are looking for a very nice place to stay with some real personality, you cannot beat La Casa del Mar for the price.
