By Eddy provided a quiet, comfortable retreat in a busy city. The courtyard was lovely and the manager very accommodating. The rooms were very large and well equipped for cooking.
We did rent a vehicle as we were further than walking distance from the beach and other sights.
The morning coffee was excellent.

We stayed at By Eddy before leaving for a cruise last week. The room was an excellent value, which is why I give it a rating of "Excellent". True, it does not have the amenities of a luxury hotel...but it had everything we needed and it was affordable. The room was large and clean. The owners were friendly and accommodating. I originally booked a room on the second floor not realizing that they didn't have an elevator. When we arrived with 5 large bags, the owner was happy to switch us to a room on the first floor to make it easier. We walked a short distance to the Galleria mall, which also has restaurants and we saw a movie at the movie theater just a few blocks away. It felt safe to walk back to the motel at midnight when the movie ended. It is in a great location. I have previously stayed just a few blocks away for 3 times the price, and the places I have stayed were NOT 3 times more luxurious. I will happily stay here again when I visit Fort Lauderdale!!

We stayed at By Eddy on both ends of a trip to Key West. The rooms are spotless, adequately furnished and comfortable. We enjoyed talking with the management team, they are friendly and had some good suggestions for us. The pool area is really nice and there is a bbq for use by guests. Each room has a kitchen or kitchenette and a dining area. The property is especially suitable for longer stays. The beach is about 2 miles away and easy to drive to. We would stay there again.

What can I say about my stay if this is helpful! I have stayed at this motel for a few years and it just gets better every year! The last stay in January was excellent the rooms are clean the people running the motel were such sweethearts and if anything was needed they were there! Pricing was reasonable especially how expensive some of these motels/hotels can be around fort lauderdale. You are only a 7 minute drive to the beach and great shopping around the neihborhood! There should not be any negative reviews because honestly this has been one of my favorite place to stay! All around this a superb place to stay especially how expensive it is southflorida! :)
