“Still a good place to stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Let me start by saying we stated 5 nights so we got a pretty good feel for the hotel, all in all I would have to say it's pretty good.
I'll start with the good. Our room was spotlessly cleaned. The bed were very comfortable. The location is very convenient to many things. They have e restaurant and bar on property but we didn't go so I can't give you any info on that but there's a yummy Italian restaurant within walking distance and within a short drive to the Anglin Pier which I recomend. It's a tourist area but there's some really good restaurants. If you're wanting a good burger I recomend " Burgerfi". The staff at the hotel couldn't be more helpful and nice. The pool area was nice, the pool was clean and the water temperature was perfect. Walking distance to the beach.
Now the not so good, unfortuently I don't think these are things that the hotel can't fix. The noise level from the road. Most often it's just one loud vehicle going by but you can hear it. Someone else mentioned noise from the room next door. Now one night we did have noisy neighbors. I think it had to do with alcohol and bad manners. I didn't call the desk because they did quite down after a while. The other nights, every now and then you would hear a noise. The biggest downside was the parking situation. They have about half as many spaces as rooms, so if you're not back early you're out of luck. The overflow is on the far side of the hotel next door. About a half black away.
I have to say even with those negative situations I would still recomend this hotel. Location and the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms makes up for the bad.

Room Tip: Not sure the "partial view of the ocean" is worth the extra charge. It's a view betwee...

Unfortunately in spite of great staff the owners need to insulate the rooms better. Staff did respond well to my complaint about the A-holes next door to me but one can hear voices even if the tenants are not loudly swearing and singing tunes .
Rooms are all "sound proof compromised" by the adjacent door partitions that are part of all the rooms.

Room Tip: Bring your ear plugs

nice play. Bartenders phenomenal, fun, and great ladies. Don't expect them to be able to serve you favorite beverage, out of all the most popular beers, wines, vodka and no idea when they are going to restock after 4 days. There is no "barbecue", the restaurant was not open or available to have a meal in, yet what little we ate was very good. If it wasn't for lady bartenders, Willy, Nancy and Diane we would have moved on down the road. Won't stay here again but would come back to visit these women

A nice and refurbished hotel with excellent location. All you need in the room and free parking. Breakfast was very good. Receptionists are welcoming and nice. We enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and city centre. Nice swimmingpool and pool area. Bar and restaurant was very good.

We stayed here for a couple days this month. Overall, our stay was pleasant, hotel is centrally located, right on A1A with a very friendly day staff. The hotel was recently renovated, rooms are clean and mattresses are comfortable.

One thing to get past is that the water is yellow in the bathroom.

Try a cappuccino from the bar downstairs by the pool.

Stayed at Royal Beach Palace Hotel this past October and was extremely pleased with hotel cleanliness, lovely fresh scent wafted throughout room and lobby; pool sits right next to pool bar and outside dining; pool has comfy lounging cabanas and plenty of lounge chairs. Each room has a balcony with plenty of space. Staff friendly and helpful. Convenient location: Supermarket, CVS and Starbucks across the street. Fabulous beach right down the road.
Highly recommend this boutique hotel with reasonable rates.

Room Tip: All rooms are perfectly situated...face the pool and rooms a bit higher give a glimpse of ocean

Parking space is a huge issue around the weekends and the night staff isn't helpful at all!
In fact the girl (latino) called the police on me and we were kicked out of the room at 3am!
I would not recommend staying there on the weekends!
