We had a nice stay in July. Great , warm pool and jacuzzi, great breakfast in the morning, all day long free coffee, tea and cookies. Nice, friendly staff, free (wired) in-room internet access, large room (#106) ground floor poolside, just a few steps to the pool.

Overall I rate this hotel with 5 points.

Stayed here for 2 nights, we felt it was a nice hotel. Comfortable beds, nice sized room, good hot strong shower. AC was a little bit weak. Room was clean as was the entire property. Breakfast was better than average cause they had Jimmy Dean sausage egg & cheese biscuits you could microwave. Staff was friendly. Free cookies at night. We did not find it musty, but since it's South Florida if you are not used to humidity I guess you might feel that way. It is a bit far to drive down to the Keys though, 26 miles but it can take a while since Hwy 1 is the only way you can get there and sometimes the draw bridges along the way go up.

Stayed here 2 night in January. Room is good size, has 2 sinks, 1 in bathroom, 1 out. Has refrigerator and microwave. No computer for you to use. Internet access if you bring your own. Beds ok. Room a tad musty. Actually it is the AC that gives off musty smell as they usually don't clean the filters. This seems to be a problem at many motels.

Room facing Krome St is a tad noisy at night. Room facing pool might be quieter.

Beds ok.

Probably best of the bunch in this area except for
new holiday inn express down the street. Might be worth checking out.

This hotel is in an excellent location for an onward/return journey from the Keys. Probably the cleanest of the hotels we stayed in on our travels around southern Florida. Irons, coffee making facilities and microwave with free bag of make your own popcorn. Excellent service, great pool area and the complimentary drinks and biscuits on lounge area on arrival were much appreciated. Plenty of eating places in surrounding area. Beds were very comfortable but we found the cushion sized pillows rather strange in size and did find our selves falling of them in the middle of the night.
