“Excellent Hotel And Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

We recently stayed one night here while going to the Keys, but have stayed several times in the past but never wrote a review. The hotel is in a good location close to the FL Turnpike, Wal Mart and several excellent restaurants. The hotel staff has always been very friendly and helpful and willing to take their discount coupons. We had a clean and comfortable room with a queen bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Everything worked perfectly. The free breakfast is always very suitable. My only reason for not giving the hotel a 5 rating is the Internet. They have excellent high speed Wi-Fi, but only in the lobby. We had a room this time very close to reception, but still had to sit in the lobby for Wi-Fi. However, I definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms in the hotel seem Ok, but be careful of the red light cameras in Florida City.

A very good , clean place to stay. It is a the gateway to the Florida Keys. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast. Our room was clean and quite. The price was very good. There were many places to eat and we wish we could have stayed longer.

It has a lot of places to eat around. A mall is like 10min away. It has a pool, free breakfast buffet (which we love it!) and free parking. Rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. We stay there so we can go to key west the next day and don't regret.

We chose this hotel as a stopping off point prior to our drive to Key West. The hotel was in a central location to many attractions, and perfect to allow us to rest after landing in Ft Lauderdale, so we could enjoy the drive to the Keys the next day. We were greeted warmly, all questions were answered and recommendations provided to us. Our room was comfortable, clean and easy to get to. We needed a first floor room and it was provided graciously. The grounds seemed pleasant and clean. Breakfast was about par for a hotel chain, adequate and well stocked. When the vending machine was out of water, we were provided with a complimentary bottle of water immediately. Would love to stay here again on our next visit on the way to the Keys and appreciate the kindness we received.

Room Tip: rooms have exterior doors, but worked great for us, you can park right outside of some rooms

Nice stop on the way to the Keys. We had a restful night and enjoyed the bar staff. Stayed here again returning from the Keys and heading to the Glades for a day! Very affordable compared to Keys properties we stayed in.

What a nice find. A very clean hotel at a super value. The area around the pool is well landscaped and lends that tropical feel to a hotel just off the highway. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and hot coffee. We were so comfortable with our first stay that we stayed again on our way back from enjoying the Keys for a few days!!
