“Recommended and near Key Largo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and drove into Key Largo for snorkling. Typical Best Western. A very clean and comfortable room - with friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but oké. Recommended. Near to Everglades, Miami Beach and Key Largo.

Thids is a very cheap hotel in coimparison of the quality, service and overall experience!
I highly reccomend this hotel bescause is cheap but VERY NICE! Otherwise i really liked the breakfast is no very good. You can only choose between a muffin, some cereals, wetty croissants and hot tea or coffr, ohh also orange juice (which is not very tasty) otherwise i really loved this hotel! It is recently renewed also!
Oi had a great experience!!

i was surprised by this little hotel.

its kept really well and the price we paid for the night was excellent.

The pool is only small but its sufficent. there Florida outlet mall down the road from the hotel but to be honest its not great.

the hotel offered free coffee and tea all day with cookies.

The breakfast was nice too considering not alot of places in the states offer breakfasts in their rates.

this was only a stop off as we came from Key West and wanted to visit the everglades before we continued to Miami.

We stayed 2 nights, one on our way to the Keys and one on the way back. It has just been remodeled, but that didn't include new carpet. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, nice linens. The breakfast was adequate. They did have in addtion to the usual carbs, scrambled eggs and bacon.

The first night we were in the upstairs overlooking the pool. The pool looks very inviting and was beautifully landscaped. Everyone that stayed there seemed to really like everything. The complaint I have about the upstairs facing the pool is getting to the upstairs. They had the walkway lined with about 5 rollaway beds and when you walk up the semi-enclosed staircase, the huge dryer vent is blowing hot air. It was already around 95 and this just made it harder to lug all of your luggage upstairs. The room itself (except for the carpet) was totatlly remodeled. There was an extra sink and bar outside the bathroom - a wet bar they called it, but at any rate it was nice to have the extra sink.

The 2nd night we arrived about 10:00 pm and had booked a first floor handcapped room (we are seniors) so as not to have to lug everything up the stairs. It was not nearly as nice as the first room and in my opinion has not been remodeled but the bed was comfortable and the room clean.

I liked the hardwire to my computer!! It was a secure connection and there was plenty of cord. Because of the hardwire it was very fast as opposed to the low strength signals you get on some WiFi's at most hotels.

The man was right about them putting an additional $50 on your credit card and zeroing out in the morning. The first night i stayed (7/23) just came off today and the one from 7/27 is still there on the Temp list on my online statement.

I WOULD STAY AGAIN AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THE HOTEL for a stopping point. The city has plenty of cheap gas, walmart close by, and we ate at Shiver's Barbecue which has been in business for about 60 years. The Farmer's Market Restaurant came highly recommended and I would like to try that another time.

Room Tip: Pool view is very nice, but getting up those hot staircases and trying to maneuver around the rollaw...

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The room was clean and staff was friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, so can't review that. The pool was good. We were in the hot tub for about five minutes before I saw something crusty and foamy floating on the water. That was enough to gross me out and keep me out of the pool as well. Other than that experience, we were very pleased with our stay.
